I purchased the book itself and then saw this 'essentials" option on audible. This is a concise audio book which is excellent. The link to the pdf is right on this page so I'm not sure why some thought they didn't receive it. Regardless, the program is easy to follow as there isn't much you have to "count". Just make sure you only have 2 fruits a day before 2pm and no more than 2 whole eggs a day. It's generous in what you can eat and Dr. Moreno is very personable, direct and honest. "If you want to lose weight, you need to eat vegetables". Love it! It's an inexpensive program you can try for 17 days and if you hate it, you lose little; if you love it, you lose alot! :)
Although it this was a quick reference tool, the fact that I did not have access to the referenced pdf sheets made much of what was said useless info. I will now need to check on a hard copy to see what it says.
PDF is downloaded as a separate file on the audio book page. Audio file is good but reading the book may better as its a little hard to follow the exact directions.
The plan can work as a healthy lifestyle change , despite fad diet title. It leaves room for variables without rigid counting and charting demands. My cravings did change toward healthier fare and weight loss did not return rapidly even when I abandoned my newfound habits. I plan to get and maintain on the plan presented.
I travel allot for work so aubible is great while I have windshield time. Plus I can listen at 2x or 3x speed to absorb the information easier and not fade off.
It's a great overview but I wish I had a copy of the PDF of food you should and should not eat.
This book will get you to focus on the right foods and the importance of water to a better, healthier life.
Echo to the audio, making listening difficult. Also PDFs were referenced which did not receive.
The book is useless without the PDF. The PDF wasn't originally included until a couple weeks after release. Once I did get the PDF the complete info didn't impress me at all. Nothing new and no real Guide to follow, this is meant for people who can't count or figure out a free weight loss app for their phone. I didn't want general concepts with nothing useful and specific to back it up and follow, but that's what this book delivers!
