This book was very helpful in help me understand the harmful effects of sugar on my body and ways that I can help reduce the amount that I take in everyday. Sugar is one of those ingredients that is in more foods and drinks that we realize and in quantities that we wouldn't believe. This book will give you a great starting off point to make decisions on what foods and drinks you want to put into your body and those that you want to avoid. Greater health and energy is yours for the taking.
Too much intake of sugar is bad for our health. Through this guide I was able to learn deeper the effects of sugar to our body. I was able to learn more the diseases caused by excessive intake of sugar. I was also able to learn how to sugar detox and the sugar detox diet. Generally, this guide is so informative and helpful on how to start and be guided while under the sugar detox and so how to be sugar addict free and the right amount or consumption of sugar to take for our body needs.
I originally listen this book for my father in law who has diabetes. He can't get enough of sweets, so I thought I would learn some tips and pass them along. But turns out, I learned a lot that I will pass on and keep for myself as well! This is a great book for beginners that is a step by step book. I love the parts about sleeping better, having more energy, clearer skin, and how to dine out during the detox. This is a great book and a must!
It clarified my understanding of why I needed to watch my sugar intake. It is the main thing hurting my health right now and the process in this book will give anyone the path to kicking that bad sugar habit! Also the recipes in the book are very practical and easy to follow. Best part of the book was the list of foods to eat and foods to avoid. That was probably the most helpful to me. I recommend this book to anyone who tries to take care of their health.
I was afraid that I was having problems when I realized that no matter what I tried I always felt tired, sluggish, lethargic, and overall in a mental fog. Then after listening the first few chapters I had a sense of enlightenment. I really enjoyed listening this book.
