ThePersonalizing Pilates: Stress Relief program includes three files to help you. First is a free Ab Tutorial that teaches you how to use your breathing to activate and strengthen the deepest layer of your abdominals. These muscles are important because they support our spines (and flatten our tummies).
In the workout, my voice guides you through easy-to-follow, gentle exercises that focus on mobilizing your tight neck and shoulders and strengthening your upper back. You'll feel much better after doing this workout just once because the muscle tension will start to release. Finally, for those of you who are visual learners, a photo-illustrated document is included that shows the exercises in the order in which they are taught.
This workout was created by and is taught by Sherry Lowe-Bernie, owner of Personalizing Pilates. Sherry is a PMA Certified Pilates Teacher, which means that you are entrusting your spine to one of the best Pilates teachers you can find. Sherry has over 10 years experience teaching Pilates.

I bought this Personalizing Pilates for Stress in order to combat chronic intractable foot pain. Since there's nothing much that can be done for feet, combatting the anxiety caused by pain was good enough. I normally use a Mari Winsor DVD and have for about 8 ms, but I am more impressed with the sample I have from this series. The instructor goes out of her way to coach almost every breath which I one of the most difficult thing to master in Pilates. She is patient and generous in her instruction. The exercises she provides are not physically strenuous, but are very mentally challenging. She explains everything so well and doesnt assume that by the end of the exercise I can coordinate my body to that extent.
The best thing about this series is that the instructor provides her phone number at the end. I was able to call and ask her some questions about feet. She emailed me exercises the next minute and is investigating more for me. That is a GREAT! service in these digital days and one we wont see much of in the future. Kudos to Sheri for excellent serious work that really helps!
