I loved this book. The narrator was excellent. I loved the ideas on parenting presented in the book. Not sure how realistic they are, since I don't have kids and can't try them out. The author's ideas were definitely a fresh and different perspective on things than I had ever considered. I found myself nodding vigorously in agreement throughout the entire book, as so much of what she said was refreshing and I agreed with the philosophy behind it all.
Yes. There was a lot of information here and it was presented in a conversational, fun way.
French Women Don't Get Fat, What French Women Know
Her accent is charming and adds to the tone of the book.
I enjoyed that Mireille is open about her own struggles with weight, menopause, and aging. She confirms that certain feelings and fears are universal.
There is nothing really earth shattering or new here, but it is enjoyable and inspiring to listen to and gave me several ideas for changing my lifestyle, attitude, wardrobe, and skin care routine as I age.
Not much to tell.
I couldn't make it through this book. Besides the arrogant " attitude" narration , she.sounded like she was reading something she didn't write. And, why does this woman who preaches such a healthy lifestyle look so unhealthy in person. Her skin and hair are thin. My advice for these so called health Gurus is say more prayers to God and treat your body the way God created.
