None! Most of the other stuff I read is all garbage.
I highly recommend this book for anyone trying to lose weight, or get in shape! This book will make you understand all the nonsense and lies in the fitness industry, It all comes down to proper nutrition, and realistic training routines that work for you! The author is honest enough to say that each person is different, and listening to what works for someone else may only lead to frustration. Most books are about theory, however, this book is about results! I have made more improvements shortly after reading this book than in my last five years.of training. I listened to trainers and websites claiming to give good advice, but the sad reality is that most people out there preaching don't know what they are talking about. Just because someone looks good doesn't mean they can help you. They may have lost weight, and will only gain it back after they can not keep up their deprived diet. They might be on steroids. They might have good genes. They may have $$$ profits as their priority. You should listen to someone who can help you become the best version of yourself There is no magic solution, and the author will help you understand that. This book sold so many copies because the author brings to true value to the consumer. He will give you the foundation of nutrition and training to modify your body at will....assuming your have the will power and discipline to do it.
Realistic, evidence based
This book is thorough, based on good science and solid experience. It is not extreme or a fad in any form. It's easy to understand, has thorough explanations and the PDF charts actually worked! I just finished it then I bought the paperback to write in and I'll listen to it again! This is a great book for beginners and for those who want to take their physique up a notch.

This is the second Tom Venuto audible I bought (1st was Body Fat Solution)...Mr V refers to a pdf that accomplanied this audio book but my download page library doesn't have it there. Please audible...hook a brother up! :-)
The audio version of the book is great. I would recommend still buying the paper back book to be able to go back for quick reference.
I've been training for 8 months and came across this book. Tom does an excellent job at explaining and providing solid road map for losing body fat naturally. I love chapters 16-19. Also chapter 6 is a must read as well. Excellent book if you are serious about getting into shape.
Absolutely! The book is well written. The best authors make difficult subjects tangible for the layman. He has done that in this book and I personally am approaching my fitness differently because of it.
I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to start to improve their fitness, whether you are 300kg or an athlete. The content is perfect to improve your current situation regardless of your level. I love the fact this is not an overnight solution, but rather a lifestyle change that the author somehow makes you the reader, want to adopt.
I have always know this rules in general, but the math behind this rules and the quants have helped me feel more energetic using less supplements and feeding myself with higher amounts of whole foods :)

I am a qualified fitness instructor and currently studying personal training and clinical nutrition. This is the best audio book I have listened to and teaches you the correct methods of helping you get to the best shape in your life. The four principles of mental, cardio, resistance and nutrition training are very well explained in in good depth. I am now a follower of Tom venuto and hope to someday have the level of knowledge he has in order to help others get the best from a fit and healthy lifestyle.
The narrator Is great. Tom's first book used a different narrator which was a shame as tom's voice is much kinder to the ears and in a pleasant manner. Well done!!
Tom tells his story of how he archieved his goals from being a fattish guy to a many time winner of bodybuilding competitions. Great storyline.

This is a regular listen, so much info, well presented and applicable.
The Author's own story told by him. Though it's a technical book rather than a story he is engaging and measured.
Not applicable as this is a technical book but Tom is a good reader.
How to stop being fat.
Bin the diets and fads this is real world information we all know works - eat less and exercise more - to get fit. The difference is Tom goes into the why's and how's, what works and what doesn't and how to make it work for us mere mortals who have a life outside the gym.
"Quite Simply, Phenomenal"
As someone who is relatively new to keeping fit and getting healthy, I'm soaking up every piece of advice I can get my hands on. Trouble is, so much of it is conflicting. What I needed was a level headed explanation of the health and fitness minefield backed up with facts, minus the typically biased opinion of the author.
I think this is it. And it's very comprehensive.
I listened to this book quicker than any other audiobook I have owned. Which is praise in itself. However, this book encouraged me to change my weekly workout routine due to its simple explanation of why I should and what I can expect if I do.
The change in my approach worked even better than I hoped/thought it would. However, on reflection, the most profound change was mentality. Somehow, the book has armed me with facts, details, knowledge and confidence that has ignited something inside me. All the different facets of health, fitness and nutrition have seeped into my subconscious so that I have far more positive, far more intense workouts - cardio and gym have both benefited massively.
Subsequently, I have purchased the book, too. :)

No question, this is by far the best fat loss resource ever made. Have read every version since its original release, and always wished I could listen to it on the road. So much more convenient, and allows me to keep my mind in the right place wherever I go. No matter how many times I read or hear this book, I always pick up on different aspects explained in this book which allow me to continually refine my approach. Still as relevant today as ever, and will always be my go-to guide.
Love the way that this book is read in Tom's own voice too, as I feel that he has an extremely motivational way of talking, so this only adds to what is already an Amazing book!

Nope but it has helped me loose 9 lb so far and left me with a very deep understanding of how to remain healthy. I'm a cyclist but the material in this book has still been extremely useful to me

There is no other book like this that I have found, and i have read alot.
The whole book is read with consistent vocal volume and enthusiasm but not too much, by this I mean there is no hype, and the advice given is sound and non preachy.
yes, This audio book re-lit my fire to burn fat, I have tried and tried in the past and failed, I listened to the wrong people and read the wrong magazines and fell for the supplement hype. After applying the ideas and advice in this book I have already made significant changes in my body composition.
I had this book in PDF years ago and didn't read it, instead I read 'the magazines' promoting all sorts. I thoroughly regret not reading it. If you're reading this and have been struggling with fat loss then don't think just buy this, you won't regret it.
