Great information, terrible reading

Loved the book; well researched and extremely informative. Narrated by the author and it’s like he’s reading a karaoke screen and doesn’t know what the next 3 words of the song are.

Extremely through, science backed, motivational

Awesome references,clear guidelines and accurate road maps how to get to the best shape of your life. It's not a magic pill, a fad, or easy way to cut corners but a true steadfast, proven whole life style that when applied honestly will get you bigger stronger, leaner. It will not get you there over night but stay the course and you will arrive.

Great book

I've worked in the fitness industry a long time-heck I was even a personal trainer. I can't believe the amount of things I've learned and how much I was wrong about such as the anabolic window being impacted by protein intake timing. I also learned how to build a diet and workout plan and he even has added contents on his website like a motivational black book. This is a comprehensive book with lots of info. My only minor gripes was that he didn't cover the use of steroids, L-glutamine supplement, and what testosterone exactly does in your body. He does cover common terms, supplements, diet trends, and myths. But there was slightly a bit to be desired in the areas I mentioned. But overall, its a solid book covering a lot of areas and I could foresee anyone using the material in this book. I'm going to use all this information in my next workout and meal so I'm excited. Thank you Michael Matthews!

Your book is awesome! I I’m in my first week 5 days program and can’t wait to follow the program and see results. I even bought the printed book so I can see the program and follow it better. The narrator did an impeccable job but I still would have prefer it was narrated by you the author. Still an A+++ to this great book. Thanks!

losing fat and gaining muscle never been so easy.

I got tire of working out but no eating right. So I decided to look for a nutrition book to learn about proper eating. but instead I found an eye opening book. I found the best guide to the world of fitness. Now after changing my eating habits (by cooking my own meals)and workouts. I'm seeing results that use to take me months to reach.

This book motivate me no because of all the knowledge it provides. but, because it don't tell you bullshit. I believe in hard work. when someone ask me for shortcuts to lose fat. they usually get mad at me, just because they don't like my honest answer of working out and eating better. now I can just tell them to get this book or to keep looking for the shortcut that we all know don't exist.

Love Michael's work out mrthods

I loved Michael's work out philosophies and methods. I concur with the majority of his nutritional information. However, I feel his knowledge of carbohydrate and carbohydrate intolerance is flawed in light of the fact that over half the people in the US and around the world suffer needlessly from diabetes, heart disease, obesity, etc. because of the misinformation with which our nutritional science is rife.

At times I felt the explanations were long but how it's all tied back in to the chapters really makes it one of the most informing books on physique and fitness I've listened to yet.
