Heart broken

I have absolutely loved the first three books in this series narrated by my very favorite narrator, Khristine Hvam. I am heart broken that the rest of the series are graphic audios with multiple narrators. I really hate graphic audiobooks. I have loved the series and want to continue. I am just sad AF that Khristine is not narrating. I don’t understand changing a narrator in the middle of a series. Just so you know audible, this fucking sucks!

Devon Monk has a way of writing that just draws me in KristinKvam has a way of narrating that brings them to life.

Hippy vampires and kick-@#$^ chicks

If you enjoy a strong (and slightly reckless) leading lady, this series if for you. Delaney Reed is the police chief of ordinary and deals with demons, vampires, and other assorted creatures with humor and sass.

No sophomore slump here

I love this series more with each book. The little bits of humor scattered throughout. The sisters unwavering support of each other and the town. There are three main mysteries that are solved by the end of the book but their resolutions set up the next book. I liked getting to know more about some of the gods and the vampires and werewolves. Can't wait to read more about them. The sisters dealings with them are my favorite parts of the books.
Kristine Hvam’s narration is perfection.

Gods and Ends

Another good book in this series. It was action packed and I loved all the characters. I loved the surprise ending because I did not know that was possible. I can't wait to read the next book. I enjoyed the narration very much!

I am so in love with this town and these characters!!!! I really hope this is not the last book, I wasn't so many more! When will the gods return? What happens with old Rossi? So many more things I need!!! This series is just wonderful!

Love the author and love the narrator!!

I laughed out loud so many times with this book and wanted to cry a few times too! I love all the characters and wish I could be friends with the Reed sisters! The knitting and crochet gangs are hilarious! Khristine the narrator is fabulous, I just love her voice and how she delivers the dialogue, especially Jean!

Story was pretty bad but the narration was great..

Okay, I didn’t like this book at all. It was very repetitive, and Delaney had no problem at trading her soul to a demon NOR did she have a problem asking her friends to kill her in order to trap and kill Lavius, and then hope someone would bring her back, hopefully. It was totally ridiculous. I won’t be moving on to the next book. The only thing good about this was the funny conversations that went on.

No sex and the F-bomb was used 2 times.

As to the narration: Khristine Hvam did a fantastic job narrating these books. She got better with each one. Her voices were just awesome, and her emotions were perfect.
