Publisher's summary

Jesus said, “If it were not so, I would have told you.” [John 14:2 NASB]

In his eye-opening new book, Bob Palumbo brings so much fresh information to this hotly debated topic that the listeners may find themselves asking, “Why did he wait until his third book to share it?” You might think you have heard it all before. But, this book goes where others have refused to go. It is truly groundbreaking!

The author establishes two “ground rules” for this study, right from the start:

  1. If we want to know how God will interact with mankind in the future, we must have a firm grasp on how he did so in the past. It has been said, “The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior.” And we know that God changes not.
  2. The Bible is best understood when we allow it to speak for itself. This book is chock-full of passages from Genesis 1, all the way through to Revelation 22, and it does not lean heavily on quotes or theories from non-biblical sources. It takes God’s word at face value...plus or minus nothing...as it should be.

You will want to set aside a little time to dig into this audiobook because once you start listening, you won’t want to pause it. Get ready to have those age-old precepts challenged as the author raises some thought-provoking questions:

  1. Does the Bible define what the human soul is...and why does it matter?
  2. Why were the days of Noah so important that Jesus told us that before he returns, the earth will be like that again? What does that mean?
  3. Does Daniel Chapter Twelve unearth a cornerstone of the entire end-time debate? And why is it so critical in helping us to see the truth?
  4. Could it be that the word church is a mistranslation from the Greek language? And if so, how does that effect one’s end-time views?

Whether you are new to the subject or have been studying it for years...this audiobook is a must-hear. And it just might be one you will refer to time and time again. It makes a great witnessing tool, as well.

Will make you think

Bob gave me an advanced copy of this book to read and check for Biblical correctness, which blessed me to be able to do so. In reading this book, he presented a complete idea to me regarding the end times that was not on my personal radar. It was a very well written and Biblically sourced idea on the subject and anyone who is even mildly interested in the subject would be wise to read (or listen since it's an audiobook now). Also, it is done in a very entertaining way, not as some kind of "college treatise" on the subject. It will hold your attention, as it did mine!!

Made me think. Couldn’t put it down!

I was extremely interested in reading this author’s book “God’s Nature and the End of the Age.” As a Christian, I was looking for books relative to end time prophecy but what I discovered when I read this book is that whether you’re a Christian or not there are so many elements to this book for any reader to enjoy. It’s packed with historical facts, how the church came to be and gives you a bird’s eye view of what is really happening in our world today. The amount of research that went into writing this book is remarkable. The style and structure of the book is artistic, methodic and clear, making it easy to read and understand. He does a great job summarizing chapters and pointing out what is consider to be the key takeaways. By weaving many of his own personal experiences relative to the topic that he’s addressing, not only does it lend credence to what the author is saying, you get to know the author on a more personal level and I liked that. In my opinion, it’s definitely worth the read.
