Publisher's summary

Garden gnomes have lived rent-free long enough.

The last thing necromancer Damian Vesik expects to face is a clan of panicky garden gnomes. But his sister, Sam, gave her word to protect them, and breaking her word to the Fae would be disastrous.

With help from Calbach, the iron-touched Fae, they seek what is stalking the garden gnomes. Reality proves far worse than they imagined, landing Damian and his friends on the wrong side of the Iron Queen's most-feared assassin.

The queen may be the key to defeating the dreaded red cap, but the garden gnomes’ ancient betrayal of their queen created bad blood between them. As the threat from the red cap looms, Damian, Foster, and Calbach must take Nog deep into Faerie in an attempt to right an old wrong.

Gritty action meets snarky humor in this stand-alone entry in the Vesik series!

Another great Vesick book!

I laughed out loud at several scenes in this book. I adore Damien, Foster, Sam and the many other characters in this world. Although I miss the original narrator, the new one is quite good.

Another Home Run

It's no secret to anyone who knows me that I absolutely love Damien and Crew and in this book you get to see more of why his sister Sam is so awesome too. Yes it's way deep in the series and for me one of the best parts of this book is it can be read as a stand alone. It's enjoyable even if you don't have all the history of the gang. The narrator does a phenomenal job as always and I highly recommend the entire series

Vesik is back!

Loved the story. Travis Baldree narrated the story perfectly. Only bad part is going to be waiting for the next book. Thank you, Mr. Asher. 🙂

Another day in the life of a necromancer

Vesak and his eccentric life. Always adding new friends in peril. I will never look at garden gnome the same way.

Fun listen!

As always with this series, this book didn’t fail to entertain. A bit punchy and corny but, that only added to the story.

Full of the usual camaraderie with the bonus of new, unexpected friends. Always new facets of this world to explore and appreciate. The story was colorful and full of imagination. Lots of danger as I’ve become used to with the series but, done on a bit of a smaller scale for Damian and his allies, which I think they deserved .

It felt great getting back into the Vesik world and its characters that feel like friends.

The narrator did an amazing job bringing the story to life!

Awesome Story!!

Eric did a marvelous job of putting pen to this story! Not as insidious as a lot of the other Vesik books, but very good in it's own right!
I'm not yet sure how much I like Baldree. It's very difficult to stop comparing him to William Dufry. His voices aren't bad at all, just not quite at the standard we became used.
I still very much recommend getting the audio and enjoying the story!

Another fantastic installment.

I love the Vesik Series! I don't know how Eric Asher continues to come up with these great stories and keep the huge amount of characters all straight. Garden Gnomes Graves is another fantastic installment.

Narrator Travis Baldtree is phenomenal. The story comes to life through his interpretation.

cute but nothing to want ever read again

I love this series, but this book is dry and uneventful. You are not missing anything. I just hope this tires to something better later
