As the zombie scourge spreads like wildfire, the People’s Liberation Army takes advantage, landing sizeable ground forces on America’s shores.

Now, nearly a year later, having lost many loved ones and brothers in arms to Omega, Captain Cade Grayson - father, patriot, Delta Force commander - has one goal in life: to push the communist invaders back into the sea. When the PLA’s purported Spring Offensive fails to materialize, Cade leads his Pale Riders on a mission to Idaho, where he finds clues that lead him to believe the CCP leadership has a sinister new plan in the works. A plan whose game-changing main component will allow the enemy to quickly finish the job Omega started.

To confirm the validity of the evidence, Cade needs to interrogate a recently apprehended high-value target. With the clock ticking and time of the essence, he makes an overture to an old friend.

If I hear "sai-yeega" one more time...

Shawn did a great job, as always. Multiple story lines going at once without getting confusing. Action galore. Just start at the beginning of the series if this is new to you.

Adam Paul (narrator), was good, a little flat in narration, but does a great job differentiating the characters from one another and retaining speech patterns and inflections throughout the series.

Now for the bad...

It's not pronounced "sai-yeega", it's "say-ga", (Russian: сайга, tr. Sayga). I think I died a little each time I heard...sai-yeega, like when someone says "grinded" instead of "ground". Ice pick through the brain.
That's it though, no other issues.

it's so weird how it seems like you wrote this with all the crap going on during the past year and a half. *wink, wink*

Oh, and throwing commies out of helicopters never gets old.

Great Read

This is a great series of books! I have them all. I love the writing as it transports me into the story! I’ll be back for the next one too!

Nonstop Action

Shawn Chesser continues to keep the action going In this book. I was listening while on the edge of my seat. If you haven’t checked out the surviving the zombie apocalypse series what are you waiting for? And if you haven’t checked out Fury yet, what are you waiting for. You won’t me disappointed.

Absolutely loved the latest installment in Chesser's awesome zombie series as I've become rather vested in following some of my favorite characters as they charge once more into the breach taking on both zombies as well as the PLA who once again are trying to wipe the world into oblivion by the release of a new virus; as if Omega wasn't enough. My only problem was that I finished it so quickly & now have to wait until next year for the next book.
It's hard to pick a favorite part as I love following the exploits of the Pale Riders and then keeping up with Raven & the Uncles D. Now to try to find another zombie book.

This has been one of my favorites in this series.!!!!
Action packed, suspenseful, and not one moment of disappointment. The characters feel like family who you are constantly rooting for.!!!!! Once again, great, awesome, gotta get.!!!!!!!!!!

Pretty good

I really enjoy the new narrator. Much better than the earlier audio books. Story was ok? I wish it didn’t bounce around so much. I end up having to re listen to several chapters to catch things I missed.

AMAZING!!

Adam Paul is the best narrator I’ve heard in a very long time and I listen to about a book a day. He brings Shawn Chesser’s characters to life and makes this a performance to remember! He puts most narrators to shame. The story is action packed and an edge of your seat read from beginning to end and leaves me wanting more and yet feeling satisfied at the end. I can’t wait for more of Cade and the rest in 2022 and Rikers apocalypse in late 2021 as was stated at the end of this book. Kudos Mr. Chesser!! And thank you for having Adam Paul narrate your works of art! Keep writing and I’ll keep buying :)
