This book came into my life when I didn’t even know I needed it yet I could relate so much to her story. A crisis of faith is something I never thought I would find myself facing but here I am. I’m thankful that I am not alone and I am never too far from God’s love, all I have to do is turn to Him and surrender once again. He has never left me and He can handle all my questions and doubts. He is ever faithful and loving and I want to be faithful and loving as well. I’m so thankful that God led me to Lina AbuJamra, first to her group and now to her book.

I'm in a faith crisis, left my religion 11 yrs ago, and have been struggling with who I am and my purpose here now that im able to think for myself; it took many yrs to declutter my Mormon brain after 50 yrs of being told what to think do and feel , the sad thing is I would never be good enough for them being told Your not praying hard enough. this is a great book a start to my journey

Great truth

I really loved this book. I have been going through a crisis of faith myself. At age 47, I have been through a lot of ups and downs in my journey with Christ, but this one has been very hard. Due to hurt, mental struggles and raising a special needs child; I felt rejected and like no one cared. It is very hard to be around people, especially some Christians, where I have not felt accepted. I have been trying to discover what I really believe and whether what I have been taught as fact in the "church" is really who God is. Thank you for this book. It has opened the door for me to start discovering where I belong in Christ. I have a long way to go and I still don't feel comfortable around most people in the church, but I want to find my place again.

a growing Christian

I really appreciated Lina's transparency and invitation to come close to hear her story of Grace. I have walked through seasons were my faith is fractured. As Lina so honestly shares, I, too, have found that God is actually directing my purpose through my pain. Truly a book written from a heart of love.

Just listen to the book. Be amazed by the word and promises of God. Just say Amen.

Just what I needed

Do I go away from my roots in Jesus or towards them? This book helped me so much to answer those questions.

Highly recommend

Highly recommend if you've ever felt on a seemingly lonely path of fractured faith juxtaposed to a constant desire for complete surrender and abandonment to God. This book was like sitting on a therapist's couch, receiving a coach's correction, having a loving talk from a sister and being led by the hand of a friend to the Cross all at the same time.

Very helpful

This really helped me deal with struggles and hursts and spiritual abuse. She’s a very good communicator, transparent and is a powerful example of God using difficulties to make one better rather than bitter.

Must have if you are deconstructing your faith!!

I highly recommend this book. It was such a blessing hearing Lina speak. I started following her after going through one of her devotionals on the Bible app. My faith was slowly deconstructing, and I felt alone. I felt like giving up so many times and going back to sin. I felt like an imposter Christian. This book helped me reframe many questions in my mind about myself and my relationship with God. Read it or hear it, but this book is a must-have.
