Good enough for free
I've listened to several books using virtual voice and am generally ok with it except without distinction between characters it is sometimes difficult to know who is speaking. The story was also just ok. I liked the hero and heroine but didn't form much of an emotional attachment to anyone else to care what happened to them. Still don't understand why the world-building detail of the 5 kingdoms, etc at the beginning since it's irrelevant to the rest of the story. Unless, maybe, the author is hoping there will interest for more stories from that world? Overall it was free and I enjoyed the listen but I would have been disappointed if I'd paid money for it.
