Great Read…now I need to go find something new to binge! Love the narrator too! Wow!

Awesome story

Emperors Edge Forget in Blood vol 2 is a wonderful closure to this story. It’s written with skill and sensitivity and performed to perfection by Vivienne Leheny. She understands the characters and their motivations and emotions. Presents it all to the listener consistently and sensitively. The author and narrator seem to be linked.

Books will be missed!

I gota honest I didn’t think I was so involved with the characters. Bookie’s death hit hard .

Self sacrifice

The team once again fights for their beliefs in what is right. Even to sacrifice one's life for a son not of their blood.

Buroker at her best

A poignant, bittersweet ending to a great series. Buroker is exceptionally gifted at creating characters that quietly creep their way into the reader's heart – how often is a cold-blooded assassin portrayed as worthy of love and redemption? I really loved being able to experience the story from Sicarius' perspective during the last two novels. Vivienne Leheny is an excellent reader, as well suited to Buroker's work as Caitlin Davies.

Another hit!

I really loved this series! But I was so bummed when I realized the last two books aren't available as audio books. I really hope those get released soon! I just don't have the time to sit and read anymore, but I really want to be able to finish the series!

Solstice Day Gifts Review

I’ve already reviewed Forged in Blood II, but I couldn’t find a place to review the novella that follows this book, since it’s not available here. I want Lindsey to know how delightfully sweet and fun Solstice Day Gifts is. I especially enjoyed the adventures Sicarius had at the post office and the heartwarming gift he made for Amaranthe. Such a sweet new beginning for their future adventures together. Thank you for writing and sharing the story.

Exciting, satisfying conclusion for this story.

I really enjoyed the entire series. The continuity lent a sense of comfort with the characters. I really enjoyed how it came full circle with Starcrest. Very entertaining with excellent presentation. Thank you!

Is it really over? =(

Another brilliant tale in this series! Sircaris isn't himself, but Amarenthe doesn't give up! She does everything she can to bring him back. She finds unlikely allies (what else is new for her?), and with the help of her friends, and her really bad, or good, depending how you look at it, organization skills to develop plans to not only overthrow the villains, but to help put the emperor back on the throne. This is promised to be the last audio book in the series, even though there are a few more books in the series, they're not part of the main plot that this book concludes. I'm sad about that, as I'm an audio person, but I've downloaded the other three or so books in this series to my Kobo, and plan to read them, imagining the brilliant voices I've heard by the two narrators of this series.
