Heartbroken by the loss of her fiancé, adventurous Anna finds a second chance at love with an Irish sailor in this riveting, emotional romance.

After a reminder goes off for the Caribbean sailing trip Anna was supposed to take with her fiancé, she impulsively goes to sea in the sailboat he left her, intending to complete the voyage alone.

But after a treacherous night’s sail, she realizes she can’t do it by herself and hires Keane, a professional sailor, to help. Much like Anna, Keane is struggling with a very different future than the one he had planned. As romance rises with the tide, they discover that it’s never too late to chart a new course.

In Trish Doller’s unforgettable Float Plan, starting over doesn't mean letting go of your past; it means making room for your future.

Enjoyable read!

One thing I love about this story is there is no contrived drama or misunderstandings or kept secrets that just add “confusion.” It’s a pleasant story about pain and love and is well told. Worth the credit!

Enjoyable

I really enjoyed Float Plan. There we’re no car chases or explosions or anything like that. It was a nice thoughtful listen dealing with loss and acceptance and love. I’m not a water person but I loved the descriptions of sailing the Caribbean. Solid 4 stars

Funny as hell and such chemistry.

Such good narration. Sounds a bit like Amy Adams. I know nothing of boats or sailing, so this was as much of a lesson as it was entertaining.

Now I want to go sailing…

An enjoyable chick-lit about personal growth through crisis. Just enough tastefully written sex and lots of interesting side characters. Makes you want to jump on a boat and explore!!

I love the sailing

The book did deal with the grief of someone dying by suicide, but it was well written and dealt with the grief more than the suicide. Plus the book was more about the ones left behind who learn to move forward and about new loves and experiences. I loved the book and thought the journey was a great emotional release. The characters were wonderfully brought to life and the islands were described so well I felt like I had been right there.

Great Vacation Romance!

This book was a standout audiobook for me! I would classify this as self discovery story with a side of slow building romance. After listening to a hot and heavy romance, this story was just the switch I needed. Escaping into a romance story is what I love most about audios and this book definitely gave all the vacation vibes with some heartache and healing along the way.⁣

“This is not kissing as a precursor, this is him kissing me as if I am first, last and everything in between.”⁣

Anna is still lost and reeling after the unexpected death of her fiancé by suicide and on a whim she decides to take the sailing trip they had planned by herself. Yet she is a naïve sailor at best and ends up taking on a sexy Irish man, Keane, to help her finish the trip. They form a beautiful friendship sailing through the Caribbean together and I really enjoyed watching them navigate from friends to lovers. I was laughing, dreaming and getting swept away in their island hopping adventures.⁣

The narration really made this story magical for me and I am so glad I chose to do it as an audio instead of just reading! The narrators voice for Keane’s Irish accent made me love him that much more, I’m pretty sure I have a legitimate crush on him now. Overall I would definitely recommend this audiobook, just be prepared to want to book a vacation when your done!

This is such an uplifting story about the human spirit I really didn’t want it to end. Emotions range from sadness to great joy and the adventure knows no bounds.

Great triumph of the Human Spirit Book

This was such an uplifting book. Main character displayed a very healthy way to find herself again after a life changing loss.
