What the heck

I got this book via audiobook boom. This book was so ridiculous that I actually laughed out loud. The line that was so over the top crazy was "In the safety of the women's bathroom I felt I could reveal my secret." You are drunk and in a public women's bathroom and you reveal a secret then get upset because it comes out. Well, the book is less than two hours so if you have that time to waste go for it. The narrator was perfect for this type of book.

Too fast

I felt the story was too rushed. I couldn't really get into it at all

Quick entertainment!

This book, while short was full of chemistry and good characters. Coming to America, Maddie's plan was to get the most out of her internship, and go back to England to finish her education. Luke, her boss and the owner of the company was not part of her plan. The two had instant chemistry, and you could not help but root for their happily ever after. Not expecting the ending the way it came out, made it all the more enjoyable. I love the way Simone brings the characters together with some spunk and grit, as well as the hot scenes!

Liisa Blackwell has a wonderful English accent and brings Maddie to us, feeling her joy and pain(yes, there are tears!)

Adorable short story

I received this audiobook free for an honest review. I thought this book was absolutely enjoyable. It was short and to the point. Rayne and Luke are such a cute couple. Wish the book had been a little longer, however, Simone gives the reader a really good description of each of the characters so that you become familiar with each. The story is satisfyingly complete for such a short story. Looking for more Simone Carter books.

Nice office romance

This was a very nice office romance. The pace of the story was great. I enjoyed the HEA.

Lissa Blackwell did a good job with the narration, especially the British accent. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Sweet, steamy office romance

This was a sweet, steamy office romance. Raine, an intern from England came to New York for an internship at one of the largest advertising firms in America. There, she meets Luke, her boss. Their chemistry was undeniable and I love the steamy sex! Happy ending guaranteed. Short, enjoyable less than two hours listen.

Overall the story line was ok and it centered around Maddie, the female lead , and Luke, the male lead.

The story was quick and it left me with several questions.

If it were a little longer with an Epilogue, I would have added an extra star to the rating.

The narrator, Lissa Blackwell , did well with the narration.

I was given this book in return for my honest unbiased opinion and I liked it alot. It was sweet with a little bit of sexy.

I can’t fall in love I’m only here for a year and my life is already planned out. But when the CEO of the company wants me for his intern well life just became a little bit more difficult.
This story has an Amazing HEA.

Sweet short listen

This is a sweet short novella. While mostly predictable it had a great feel to it and I thought the narrator did a great job with the story.

As with all short stories I have a need to know more but this truly provides you just enough to keep the story moving and to have a feel for the story.
