Publisher's summary

In 2018, Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganó released an 11-page testimony that rocked the world. In it, he called out the corruption of the Church, especially with regards to its handling of the sexual abuse crisis - addressing most specifically the case of disgraced Cardinal Theodore McCarrick - and stunningly called for the resignation of Pope Francis. And then he was gone...at least physically.

In Finding Viganó, longtime Vatican journalist Robert Moynihan, publisher of Inside the Vatican magazine, brings to bear his vast experience in the corridors of power in Rome as well as his longstanding friendship with Viganó to produce a book that both provides an incisive look at the content of the Testimony itself, but also, through interviews conducted in-person with Viganó at undisclosed locations, a personal look at the man whose conscience compelled him to speak out about the “filth” in which the Church he loves and to which he has given his life, has been mired for years.

Part thriller, as when Moynihan details his efforts to reach Viganó and makes his way to their meeting, and part personal memoir as both men reflect on their lives, families, and the state of the Church in the world, Finding Viganó has something for everyone. Those familiar with the Viganó saga will appreciate the insights into the man provided through the interviews, while those unfamiliar with the drama of the Testimony will, after listening, have a better understanding of the key issues and players involved.

If there was a doubt about Francis…

Kevin does a great job narrating and adding his theatrical presence to a long book. The archbishop seems very credible from all indications and when placed against the credibility of pope, Francis comes out as the more believable actor. Blessed mother, and St. Joseph, pray for us. God, our father, have mercy on us.

A Vatican insider's plea to save the Catholic Chu

loved it. It shows that Arch-Bishop Vigano is not striking back over being passed over for Cardinal. He loves the Church and sees how insex and modernist theology are destroying the faithful. Scandal and the people involved are pointed out. Arch-Bishop Vigano is a modern day Martin Luther.

well done

Fascinated by Archbishop Vigano's story

Looking forward to part 2. Ever since Archbishop Vigano's testimonial was released in August 2018 I have watched all he said unfold..it makes sense now. I pray for the Church daily, and I know the gates if he'll shall not prevail against Her.

Fair Treatment of the Subject.

I very much enjoyed this book. he produced a very fair treatment of the issue making sure to balance the claims of Arc Bishop Vigano and that of the Roman See. my only criticism is that is was a times repetitive. Looking forward to the next volume.

As good as you could expect.

Fair and well written. Narrator always does a wonderful job. A few times ( such as in breaking down each section of Vigano's original testimony) the listener would prefer to read the book themselves, but nobody could have done a better job than Kevin O'Brien. The story itself is informative but I'm not sure any minds or hearts were changed. Vigano has been consistent for decades so, love him or leave him, no real surprises.

Vigano Is a good man

despite if all this true and even move complex ..no doubt this is Satan, attempting to tear down the th church from within.
SATAN WILL NOT SUCCEED, ALL HIS PLANS WILL NEVER BRING DOWN The Catholic Church (Mathew 28, "I will be will u always until the end if the age")
meaning his Church and the devil nor darkness Shall prevail against her..
Try liberals to change God's words that "abortion is the devils 1# sacrifice"
cause if kills a baby and the mother (spiritual)
until mom asks for forgiveness from Christ and The greater she suffers the greater Christ mercy...FORGIVENESS AFTER AN ABORTION SET oneself free from the bandage of the devil.)

Amazing Book

Archbishop Vigano does what very few clergy have done over the last 50 years and that is expose the “cancer” that destroys the Church from within.
