I LOVE Charles Martin's style. it keeps the reader interested and entertained throughout the entire book! I'm always a little sad at the end...wish the story could go on. His descriptions of people make you feel as though they're old friends. The places he describes are so vivid it makes you feel as though you're there...or makes you want to take a trip and visit them.
Loved the plot and the depth of spiritual content! I will listen again!
I will also continue to listen books by Charles Martin.
Charles Martin books get better with each new book. How wonderful it is to read or listen to such life-giving stories, in today's world. Thank you Charles Martin
Listening on .75 speed was perfect for this
Wonderful story. I love CM's stories. No need
For 'out of place, distracting' foul language or
Sexual intimacy. Wish there were more writers
Charles Martin's books are all good. The best thing is that you can get a person looking for more meaning and spirituality interested in reading a great story... And then they hear and receive the best message. Mmmm - so very wonderful. Charles Martin please don't stop writing. You are a blessing to so many.
not from writer, narrators yes
He was ok. He is one of my favorite narrators. (Tom S.)
This book just didn't capture my interest like I thought it would from the description. I started listening and was uninterested from the start and just could not get in to it. It may be a good book for a lot of people but just not for me.
I can't believe the ending, It made no kind of sense and left me feeling very disapointed and frustrated. I even went back to see if I missed something, a meaning an explination, something that would help me to understand the ending but to my disapointment none was found. I am however going to give the author another try, I hope I am not disapointed.
I agree the book just stops. I am wondering if part of the book is missing. The rest of it is pretty good, and I can't believe that is the end of the story. It is unresolved.
