I liked it since he is not trying to detail too much the history. The story makes it interesting!

Nice casual stroll thru early 20th century. I was entertained. John Lee was great. Gearing up to read the next.

Much Better than "Fall of Giants"

Where does Winter of the World rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Once again, lots of characters, lots of sub-plots throughout the book, but in the end, it seems to all come together.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Winter of the World?

The battle scene was pretty creepy

I liked this book better than the "Fall of Giants". I knew both books would be slow and drawn out, so no surprises here. Follett does get into the historical significance of the times and I really think he hit the mark in his depictions. I enjoy his work but I am hoping that the third in this series leaves me wanting more........

Awesome

I enjoy history , this is a way to get an inside view to many of the events that led up to WWII . Frightfully, you may find a lot in common with what went on in Germany and Russia with what seems to be happening in the US today.

A very good follow up

Enjoyed this as much as the first book in the series. Amazing the way Follett intertwines the lives while also following up the previous story.
