The Quinn family celebrates their most dramatic Christmas yet in this enchanting sequel to Elin Hilderbrand's best-selling Winter Street.
Christmas on Nantucket finds Winter Street Inn owner Kelley Quinn and his family busily preparing for the holiday season. Though the year has brought tragedy, the Quinns have much to celebrate: Kelley has reunited with his first wife, Margaret; Kevin and Isabelle have a new baby; and Ava is finally dating a nice guy.
But when Kelley's estranged wife, Mitzi, shows up on the island along with Kevin's devious ex-wife, Norah, and a dangerously irresistible old fling of Ava's, the inn is suddenly overrun with romantic feuds, not to mention guests. With jealousy, passion, and eggnog consumption at an all-time high, it's going to take a whole lot more than a Christmas miracle to get the Quinns - and the inn - through the holidays intact.

Love Nantucket now and this family. I think I would like to hear what they are up to forever. keep the books coming.
I love all of Hilderbrand's stories, but this one was really great. Rarely is a sequel as good as the first, but this one is! Well thought out plot and details.
Really got a feel for the characters. She did a great job!
Elin Hilderbrand is really good at characterizations and making us care for each character as people who might be your friends. I didn't want it to end. I read the one prior, but this is easily a stand alone. I hope she writes another and soon. I want to know what happens to all of them in particular two characters. Perfect for a 3 hour drive one way.
The only problem with the audio version is when there are small conversations and word "said" seems to be redundant.
I wish more storylines had been summed up...my guess ..another addition next Winter.
At the end there is a dedication by the author ...very moving !
Personally feel the last two novels from this author have not been as strong as her other works....
Wife,Mother 2 a amazing Daughter,& 4 legged furbabies,Retired Nurse,fighting aterminal illness called pulmonary hypertension!Fight 2 the end
Narration always in "JMO" to tell you if it's a great book or a good book! If you can listen to it with eyes closed and see it played out, it's a great book!!!
Of course it was happy ever after, set in the time of year! Where snow is falling but I'm on a beach with sun pounding down!
Yes, I could tell that you really did read and invest her time truly in the characters she was able to make each character of their own.
Yes, and for the most part I did. I will be with headphones markings on my face. Not that it was boring it was I was so tired and it was so early in the morning that I just couldn't fight to sleep any longer , I did not want the book to end
This book was amazing. As soon as I'm done writing this review I am going to download the third book and begin listening to it. The story grabs you and won't let go of you. At some points I was so mad at some of the characters & disappointed, and other times I was crying tears of joy. This family has a lot going on, but no matter what, they always have each other. GREAT READ!! Read the first book first!!
The story lines were developed well but not one was ended in the book. Had I known this was part of an ongoing series, I would not have purchased it. To just end abruptly without any closure is extremely frustrating and I am not iterated in purchasing more in the hope the stories will be complete. Wish I had my credit back!!!
I love, love, love that she did a sequel to Winter Street. I was left hanging last winter after that one. I was so excited to see Winter Stroll and bought it right away and it didn't disappoint. I couldn't stop listening, even listened to the last 45 minutes at my desk while working. Hilderbrand uses the same suspenseful writing, leaving me wanting more. Way to go, Elin! I will be listening to Winter Street again on the ride home, to start the series over again.
A great continuance of Winter Street. I really hope there will be a third. Well detailed characters that were easy to keep track of even though there are many characters. I think having so many characters makes the story come together and their point's of view quite realistic. Recommended for anyone looking for an enjoyable holiday story. Read Winter Street first and you'll have a greater enthusiasm for Winter Stroll!
