Gather under the mistletoe for one last round of caroling with the Quinn family in this heartwarming conclusion to Elin Hilderbrand's best-selling Winter Street Trilogy.
Some of the stormy weather of the past few seasons seems to have finally lifted for the Quinns. After a year apart and an ill-fated affair with the Winter Street Inn's old Santa Claus, Mitzi has returned to rule the roost; Patrick is about to be released from prison; Kevin has a successful new business and is finally ready to tie the knot with Isabelle; and, best of all, there's hopeful news about Bart, who has been captured by enemy forces in Afghanistan.
That doesn't mean there aren't a few dark clouds on the horizon. Kelley has recently survived a health scare, Jennifer can't quite shake her addiction to the drugs she used as a crutch while Patrick was in jail, and Ava still can't decide between the two lovers that she's been juggling with limited success. However, if there's one holiday that brings the Quinn family together to give thanks for the good times, it's Christmas. And this year promises to be a celebration unlike any other as the Quinns prepare to host Kevin and Isabelle's wedding at the inn. But as the special day approaches, a historic once-in-a-century blizzard bears down on Nantucket, threatening to keep the Quinns away from the place - and the people - they love most. Before the snow clears, the Quinns will have to survive enough upheavals to send anyone running for the spiked eggnog in this touching novel that proves that when the holidays roll around, you can always go home again.

I love all Elin's books, but this trilogy is one of my favorites! I'm sad it's over frankly. Warm scenes, expressions of love, her usual yummy recipes, detailed descriptions of Nantucket and this time even of the city I live in-Portsmouth NH!!! There's a scene in Sleepless in Seattle where Rosie O'Donnell says to Meg Ryan...you don't want to be in love. You wanna be in love in a movie!! Elin's books make me want to be in love in her books!!!!!! Enjoy this happy family story.
I am only giving 4 stars due the fact it was too short !!! Compared to the others. Loved the ending. Please please please keep the Quinn family story going on . I feel like they are family . Can't wait for your next book , any story is good with me. They are all 5 star!
Hilderbrand can do no wrong in my eyes, but I especially love this series. The narrator is perfect for her books. Sad it's over!
I enjoy Erin Bennett's narration, and I typically enjoy Elin Hilderbrand's novels, but this trilogy was a vast disappointment to me. The characters (an extended family) came across as neurotic and dysfunctional rather than anything approaching normal, and even though I stuck it out through the entire three books, I couldn't find it in me to care about any of them. I need a palate cleanser.
Wife,Mother 2 a amazing Daughter,& 4 legged furbabies,Retired Nurse,fighting aterminal illness called pulmonary hypertension!Fight 2 the end
The story had more and potatoes that could've been added to the story versus feeling is so we were being rushed through a love story. Now I am one of those people who dislikes a lot of filler in a book to make it longer. This book would've been spectacular if other avenues or approached.
I'll leave it with no way, picking up my jaw
No it was her words, and who better to do it but her!
Yes and no, I felt to short ,the characters could have been explored more.
