Had my heart racing at times!

Parts in the beginning did drag on a bit. However, I’m so glad I stayed with it! Had my heart racing & hoping even let out a couple screams when I wasn’t expecting it
Loved it!

Dean Koontz does it again

The narrator really kept me interested. He really put his own emotion into the story. It did not really need it either, the words spoke volumes. It really made me wonder about, were there really another life form out there, would it really be only full of so much hate? Since we were created out of love I really cannot see anything ever being created with just hate. Lets hope we never have to find out.

Winter Moon

Definitely one of Dean Koontz best! Very well defined. As a reader, Winter Moon pulls you in and induces a feeling that one is part of the drama, excitement and accomplishments of the characters.

In one word, Winter Moon is amazing.

Not my favourite Koontz novel

This is a good story with lots of drama. The author and the narrator combine to overdo the dramatic in a few occasions, particularly the use of repetition of words for dramatic effect “.....fallling......falling.....falling......fallling”! Also the story enters the realms of science fiction and aliens which is not really my think.

Very strange story

What else would you expect from Koontz? The love of family is a strong Theme here. What I didn't like is there was no good explanation as to why the alien did these things. lots of action, but would have liked more story

Love OG Koontz!

It was proper spooky. Like Joe Hill's Heart Shaped Box. Plus you have a narrator that knows his stuff. He doesn't use his voice to make the characters sound like caricatures with over the top voices. There just wasn't anything to find fault with this audio book. I highly recommend.

Interesting story

This was a well written and interesting story. I just wish there was more explanation on what or where it came from.

Dean Koontz, Christopher Lane and a GOLDEN!

Well what more can I say than what's in the title? This book touches all the bases, it is well written and well performed. It's noce to have some consistency with an Author, and if you like one Dean Koontz story, you are probably going to like all of them. Christopher Lane is a fantastic Narrator as well.

not the best DK book

The first few chapters are worth reading but I recommend skipping straight from chapter 3 to chapter 18. that middle part of the book is very sluggish and about as enjoyable as eating crayons. I'm a huge fan of DK but this was not my favorite book. especially with all the talk of this mysterious alien, felt like it was something you couldn't wrap your brain around so it was just white noise until you hit the later chapters.
