    "Predictable, yet enjoyable..."

An interesting tale of one's inability to see what is in front of you. Jake and Nate are virtually bonded together since birth, yet still fail to realize some truths about one another. I am a fan of Sean Crisden and I think he did a great job, as usual. The Cardeno's story was good but a bit predictable...long in some parts and shorter in others. I felt as if there was a larger story to tell, specifically involving Jake, Jake's parents, and Nate but what do you do. All in all, a good, sappy romance, which I love. Worth the listen.

    "Love Going 'Home'"
What did you love best about Where He Ends and I Begin?

Love a sappy feelgood story with a lot of lust thrown in. I appreciated that there was a minimum amount of drama and genuine love between 2 friends,

What did you like best about this story?

I liked that Jake was not worried about anyone's opinion and that he was in your face with the fact that he protects what's his.

What does Sean Crisden bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

As much as I love Cardeno, I almost passed up buying the audio version. I'm not really a fan of Mr. Crisden's narration, but I thought I would take a chance and it paid off. I liked his charaterizations and he is much less wooden than I've heard him in other productions.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There are so many moving moments, I just can't pick one.

    Any additional comments?

The production value of this audiobook leaves a bit to be desired. The narrative fades in and out in places throughout the story. It can be distracting.

    "Great series"
If you could sum up Where He Ends and I Begin in three words, what would they be?

Love the series, not my favorite of the series, but definitely worth the listen. Jake and Nate have a beautiful relationship, but sometimes the POV changes and back to the past overlaps too much and so there is some redundancy.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Where He Ends and I Begin?

The scene in the bar with Nate's friends when they find out about Jake and Nate

What about Sean Crisden’s performance did you like?

He is my favorite narrator of all of them!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There are many moments! The love Jake has for Nate is touching in so many places in the book, it is hard to pick one.

    Any additional comments?

    "Why Am I crying?"

I was constantly crying. A true romance. No real angst, distress or problems at all. I kept waiting for the shoe to drop. Jake makes a perfect lover in this romance. The writing switches from Jake's and Nate's perspective created some redundancy which took me while to get used to. The tears were past secrets to what extent each other would do for each other. I was totally mesmerized by Jake's character. He had everything that I would have ever wanted. I originally gave this four stars yet I couldn't stop thinking about it the next day. I edited this review and gave it five stars. I want to listen to it again.

"Where He Ends and I Begin: Home Series"
Where does Where He Ends and I Begin rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It is a friend love story, which I like a lot.

What did you like best about this story?

Getting to know the characters and how they interacted.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Since there were only two characters that the story was about, they moved me.

    Any additional comments?

It is interesting how the author presented the the choices each guy made.

    "Weak Story"
Is there anything you would change about this book?

Less sex and more storyline. This is a very weak plot. If you like to hear "I love you" "No, I love you" "You are my life" "No, you are my life" over and over again. You'll like this story. I love good romance, but geez!

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

    Very predictable!

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

    No.

"Cardeno C makes me long for a rent button"

OK we all love a guilty pleasure. my expectations for this book were relatively low and by the end i wish they had been lower by the end. The people have no real depth show no real growth and live in fairy tale land. Jake and Nate have known each other their whole lives and known they have loved each other just never admitted it to each other they are so perfect, if you think about it too hard the reader may gag. The only redeeming quality are what I'm going to dub the "love scenes" they are hot, but as far as a piece of literature it is just awful

    "Sadly disappointing *sigh"
What do you think the narrator could have done better?

Oh Sean Crisden, what am I going to do with you? I don't think that he brought anything to this book, in fact I think he detracted from it. His voice is, plainly put, wooden in most places--the worst of places, like the sex scenes. "Oh, that feels so good" in a bland voice is a really awkward experience.

    Any additional comments?

Weirdly for me, this book has too many sexy-times. I would say the ratio is about 90/10 sexy-times, the 10 being filler until more sexy-times. I was interested in the whole "police officer" aspect of their relationship (and let's be honest, handcuff play was a factor in that) but that barely factored into the book at all, plus there were no sexy-times with the police uniform. What the hell?!? All in all disappointing.

One last thing: for soulmates, these two are EXTREMELY dense. They can read everything about each other but didn't realize they were in love with each other until they were 30?!? That is one of those things I can't buy into.

    Story
"Should be titled "When Will It End""
What would have made Where He Ends and I Begin better?

It's about the main characters in bed or in the showers half the time. Less sex and more story would have made this novel passable. Telling the POV's of both characters is not necessary and dragged the story.

Has Where He Ends and I Begin turned you off from other books in this genre?

No, I've read enough good novels not to base my opinion of this genre from this book.

    Which scene was your favorite?

When Jake was undercover and not returning Nate's call but it turned out to be a dud too.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Where He Ends and I Begin?

I would have just told the story from Nate's point of view, leaving the viewer thinking and guessing about Jake's thoughts and intentions. Would he go back to women? Is he just playing Nate? Etc.

    Any additional comments?

The book started with a blowjob. The quarry is caught. There's no more chase. Just boring repetitive sex followed.

    "Love Isn't Easy!"
Would you listen to Where He Ends and I Begin again? Why?

Even though I didn't give it 5 stars this is still story that I would listen to again as I felt the two main characters were brought to life and the twists and turns certainly made it very interesting

Who was your favorite character and why?

Not fair! I continuously kept flipping between one, then the other and in the end like them both

What about Sean Crisden’s performance did you like?

Sean's performance was a definite plus. Great narration

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I certainly did, though this could be because I'm an 'old romantic'

    Any additional comments?

Initially, took a little time to get into the story.

"Wonderful romance, loved it, didn't want it to end!"

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this feel good romance. Where two characters which have known each other all their lives finally admit their love for one another. I enjoyed the points of view of Jake and Nate constantly shifting from one to the other throughout the story, this is done clearly and without confusion. I loved their own take on what was happening in the present and of what had happened in the past. Although the story was not without tragedy, the author did not dwell on the pain of the characters but focused on the love and the support for one another that got them through.

The narrator's voice Sean Crisden was well suited to the description of the characters, and a very nice voice he has too.

I now look forward to listening and reading more Cardeno C books.
