you can start out life bad and have a bad hand. you can change your life around. all you need is one person how will stand up with you. that is how this book is. the old help the young and young people.

Good but so Depressing!
The main character hair couldn't catch a break. I had a hard time anyone could ever be that stupid and self-destructive. It was frustrating because so many times he ALMOST did the right thing. Still an entertaining read.

Great Book for parents of boys!
If you could sum up When I Found You in three words, what would they be?
Emotional life drama!
Who was your favorite character and why?
The man who found him under the tree!! Love the unconditional love he shares that most parents have yet he had it for a child other than his own.

A wonderful story
I loved this story and the heart and wisdom it portrayed while at the same time being very down to earth. I would love to see it made into a movie. Then again it might be disappointing since books are always so much better.
