When Alice Love surfaces from a beautiful dream to find she's been injured in a gym, she knows that something is very wrong – she hates exercise. Alice's first concern is her baby – she's pregnant with her first child, and she's desperate to see her husband, Nick, whom she knows will be worried about her. But Alice isn't pregnant. And Nick isn't worried. Alice is the mother of three children and her hostile husband is in the process of divorcing her. Alice has lost ten years of her life.
In the days that follow, small bubbles of the past rise to the surface, and Alice is forced to confront uncomfortable truths. It turns out forgetting might be the most memorable thing that's ever happened to her.

I am a total audiobook addict! I travel quite a bit for work and listen to them while I drive. Always searching for a good author to follow
Yes I probably will listen to it again
I loved the concept of the book. It was so well written and believable.
I liked all of them but my favourite was Franny
Imagine skipping 10 years of your life
I'm just new to listening to Liane Moriarty and I lust love her stories! This is my second book of hers, I listened to My Husbands Secret and loved that's. This one I enjoyed more and didn't want it to end.
Yes, the Australian narrator nailed the funny moments and accentuated the personalities of the main characters
None so far. It was very different and a real opener to how we can change in 10 years, why and how everyone has a different perspective on things
I loved Elizabeth and her "homework" to her Doctor
WhenAlices senses were overloaded in the hospital by frangrance. Sense of smell is very emotive and it captures this perfectly
I could hardly stop listening. The story seems very true to reality. I love the way the author interprets her characters, so honest and sometimes very funny. And of course I love Caroline Lee as a reader. It's so easy to listen to her. She is a very talented lady.
Really enjoyed this book. It was engaging, the characters were well described and realistic. In book form I would have found it hard to put down.
"A must listen"
The narrator Caroline Lee makes this book. She bring all the characters to life. The story is really easy to listen to and very funny in parts.
The story is really easy to listen to and entertaining.
"It's an old idea but works well"
Character suffers bang on head and forgets what time they live in. This is an old idea but What Alice Forgot is a very good example. Loved the interaction between Alice and her sister in particularly. The story will probably make any mother who listens think hard between their pre baby and post child selves, it certainly did for me. If only we could go back and tell our childless selves what parenthood really means!!!
Funny, interesting, gripping
Really loved the new Alice and her sister, both great central characters.
I am really picky about the narrators I listen to. I loved Caroline Lee and would listen to others based on her alone.
Yes! But it was a bit long,I had to break it up over a week or so.
Great book - really enjoyed it
Loved the ending
enjoyed the way it was read
Made me think how my life had changed in the last ten years!
"Really good listen"
Really good listen listened to it every spare minute
The story line was very clever and made me reflect on decisions and reactions I have made as it gave you real food for thought about the way your life can change quite dramatically without you really being aware
"Memory lost book - but such a good read -"
The narrator Caroline Lee is excellent she just makes each character come to life especially the three children. I just loved this book mainly funny -slightly serious in places. Such suspense awaiting the ending.
"Not Brilliant but not Terrible Either"
It is not a bad book and was okay to pass time as I did mundane jobs but I have heard a lot of better books. I didn't hate it and it is easy enough to listen to but I felt that it was a bit contrived and after a while found it tedious.I wasn't sorry when I got to the end.
This was the first book I have listened to by this author.
Unlike other reviewers I didn't particularly like the narrator's voice, I found it a bit whiney, so I will avoid performances by this narrator in future.
In that it was entertaining enough, I don't regret listening to it while I did other things but like Alice, the heroine in the book, I will forget about it very quickly.
Nothing in this book made me want to know what was going to happen next. In fact most of the time I knew what was going to happen next.
Just not really my cup of tea.
"Really enjoyable and emotional"
I would definitely recommend this audiobook. The narrator, Caroline Lee, had a lovely voice that was very easy to listen too and expressive. The story was interesting, and I felt very invested in the lives of the characters.
The emotional reactions it instilled in me. I felt really choked up and it made me reflect on my own life and to hold onto all of the good things.
The last scene. I like my happy endings.
I did keep wanting to come back to it yes.
"Loved everything about this book"
Funny, refreshing, complete
Impossible to restrict it to one thing. I loved everything about this book - the basic premise, the characters, the narration...
Caroline Lee reads Liane Moriarty brilliantly. It's a perfect combination. Without wishing to limit her in any way, this is her niche. She knows these people and how they tick. It's all so easy, colourful and fluent and leaves you entirely free to enjoy the story. I'm so glad I bought this - it completely restored my faith, after a very dodgy performance on Kate Morton's The Secret Keeper.
Who wouldn't love the chance to do it all over again - but differently?
More Moriarty / Lee combos please!
"One of my favourites"
I thoroughly enjoyed this story and the narration.
I enjoy Caroline lee's narration, her voice is very soothing and I wouldn't be able to do my endless chores and read :-)
I had a few tears
Well worth a credit
