What a Delight!

I have almost 100 books in my audible library that I've listened to, most of them romances, and this is the first time that I've felt compelled to write a review. This book was delightful and funny. SO much different than the majority of the books in my library. Most books, while entertaining when you're listening to them, will be quickly forgotten once they're over. Not so with this one!

The author really takes the time to develop the relationship between the main characters. For me, it's refreshing that they aren't meeting and falling in love in a matter of days... That seems to happen a lot in romance novels. I think that it makes the characters more relatable that they seem to take some time to get to know one another. Its not an "I saw you across a crowded room and have to have you now" situtation. I mean, how often does that really happen? But i digress... The way that the characters in this book banter back and forth had me laughing out loud at times and reminded me of the way that I talk with my best friend. This is smart, engaging writing and I can't wait to discover more from this author. Can't recommend this one more!

A relatable-ish modern love story, that will leave you laughing and swooning the whole way through.

Did Heather Smith do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

Hated the narrator!! She would be fine for many books I'm sure, but wasn't right for this one at all! It was almost creepy, I'm sorry to say. As other reviewers mentioned, her voice seemed too old for these characters.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Several parts were laugh out loud funny.

If you're only going to buy this book in one format, choose ebook or paperback if available! If I hadn't already read it and known how much I loved the story, no way would I have finished the audible book.

A good laugh from start to finish

It was a great read. The narration really made it worthwhile. The ending had me in stitches as did the rest of the book

Romance with Twist!

This was a great story had me laughing out loud refreshing! Loved it! Read well.

Bam, bam, bam...from the start this audiobook was laugh out loud funny. I also liked that Simon and Caroline didn't fall into bed as soon as they recognized the attraction they felt for one another. It was fun to "watch' them move through the different stages of their relationship. The cat epilog was hilarious..

I laughed out loud!!!

Ok I wasn't ready for this funny ride. It was a beautifully written, funny look at a new relationship. It was hilarious and Heather Smith now has a new fan. I wish I could have her call me and read me a bedtime story I tell ya.

Already purchased the next one and I'm glad Heather will narrate the next phase of the ride with Simon and Caroline.

Great Mix of Love and Humor

I would never have thought that a book called, Wallbanger would crack me up so much. I guess that's what I get for judging a book by it's cover.This book is so funny, sexy, and cute. I loved it! I was laughing out loud from the beginning. I related to the girlfriends in the book and it cracked me up on how they all interacted with each other. I really loved Alice Clayton did an amazing job writing an awesome book. Read it!! You will love it!

Fan Freakin Tastic !!! I absolutely loved the book, then the audible, oh my gosh!! This just made it even better. Bring the visual on next!!! I would watch it. I laughed my ass off!!
