Very easy to listen too

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, but not a hard core Paranormal fan. This is a very tounge in cheek view of vampire stories

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

I find all of this series to be a little disappointing in the last chapter. Feel like it is all rushed and the story line becomes diluted

What does Nancy Wu bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

A totally different experience, she is the character for me. Love listening to her voice

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Laugh out loud sometimes

Any additional comments?

The series started off hilarious, but lost its way a little

What happened????

I'm still trying to figure out what happened with this book. The narrator (all though the same person) read this book at a snails pass and paused for what seemed like 30 seconds at the end of each statement. I also felt like I was missing information in this book...Like who is this werewolf chick and when did the fiend become super normal. I've listen to the other four unabridged books and still can't find any mention of this women...This book makes me not want to listen to the other four books...

Couldn't believe it was worse then the last one.

What would have made Undead and Unpopular better?

A plot with some depth and humor.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Anything but Mayjanice....I'm all done with the Queen.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Nancy Wu?

Loved Nancy's voice, only redeeming quality.

What character would you cut from Undead and Unpopular?

I wouldn't cut anyone, I would just develop them and give them a little more depth this far in.

Any additional comments?

Bailing on the series....don't hail the queen.

I feel like this author is stringing along readers

I love books that run in series, ie. Sookie Stackhouse, Nice Girls Don's,.., etc, but this author writes books that are read in 5 hours and charges more than any other series. This is the reason I stopped listening to her books. She hasn't got near the talent of Charlaine Harris or Molly Harper. I rated the performance high because I like the narrator, and I gae the story and overall 2 because, the story line is good escapism, but, I don't like being taken advantage of or having the characters held hostage by the author.

Vocabulary

Some of these books have hiarious quips and scenarios. However, the "F" word is used so much, it's like fingernails down a chalkboard to me. Note Sookie from the Southern Vampire Series. Both heroines have the "I'm young, I'm maturing, yet my situations are really about me and how I feel" about them. Still, from book to book, Sookie learns and matures. I'm not really seeing this in Queen Betsy, therefore the personality of Betsy stays stuck book to book.

Love Love LOVE this series!

I have almost completed the entire series and because I just keep starting the next one, my reviews are getting behind. The banter is funny and Betsy is so self-centered that you can't help but love her. The narrator is excellent and keeps the book alive.
Be sure you read the books in order, or you could get lost on the references.
What a fun and humorous read!

Not my type of story

Just couldn't find anything funning or even interesting in this book. Not my genre.

More of the same

Pretty much like the earlier books, a continuation of Betsy's life. Just a fun read.

Trashy Gossip

What did you like best about Undead and Unpopular? What did you like least?

The book reads like your hearing it over a fence. It's good gossip, but you didn't hear it from me! The leading lady wants to sell shoes and be herself, the author keeps throwing a crown on her head. What's a girl to do?

Would you recommend Undead and Unpopular to your friends? Why or why not?

I would recommend this if you want to put your brain in neutral and enjoy a trashy novel.

What about Nancy Wu’s performance did you like?

Nancy has three voices really, and you hear them from different characters but she really gets the leading character and she is fun to listen to.

Do you think Undead and Unpopular needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

There are too many follow up books.

Any additional comments?

I'm done with this series, but it was a fun ride.

Last of the series for me....

What would have made Undead and Unpopular better?

A plot.

So much time was spent recapping what already happened in the previous 4 books, that there was essentially no plat whatsoever. Not to mention that for people like me who have already read previous books in the series, it was ridiculously repetitive.

The previous books were cute and fun, but unfortunately, this one knocked me off the fan list. I don't think I'll be continuing this series.
