Publisher's summary

Weddings are never easy. But when you're Vampire Queen Betsy Taylor, they can become downright deadly.

In the days leading up to The Big Day, Betsy seems to have a full house - and the wedding guests have yet to arrive. Along with her human buddies, there's a ghost, a werewolf, and a fiend crashing at her place. And though her fiancé, Vampire King Eric Sinclair, conveniently disappears when the conversation turns to seating charts and flower arrangements, he does manage to make his oh-so-sexy presence known at other moments.

Cold feet are no surprise, especially with an undead groom. But when Sinclair truly goes missing, and not just to avoid wedding preparations, along with most of her friends and loved ones, Betsy is frantic. Alone and afraid for the fate of everyone she loves, Betsy can't trust anyone as she tries to find them and whoever is behind all the disappearances. And what happens next will shake the foundation of the vampire world forever.

Dying for more? Don't miss the other titles in the Undead series.

One of the best of the best

I love this series. I love this author. I have never read any of her books that I didn't, at least, like a lot, but this one was absolutely amazing -- one of my favorite books by one of my favorite authors. If you've heard of economies of scale, this is entertainment of scale.

The Undead Wedding of the Year?

What made the experience of listening to Undead and Uneasy the most enjoyable?

It still has a good amount of funny parts. The whining has escalated but it hasn't overshadowed the funny bits. Betsy does seem more selfish, but it is the brides big day. I still enjoyed the book, but this one isn't as good as the books from the beginning of the series.

What did you like best about this story?

Betsy and Sinclair are finally getting married

What does Nancy Wu bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

As usual she is the best voice for the parts because she is the voice you expect to hear.

Who was the most memorable character of Undead and Uneasy and why?

None really

Any additional comments?

The books feel like they are slipping. Not as smartly funny as they used to be. I used to laugh so hard sometimes it hurt. Now, not as much. I wish it would get better

Short and sweet

Betsy gets a cool new power. She's especially whiny in this one. Good story overall.

The True Queen has risen...

And yes it’s Betsy! I’ve said that she’s the worst queen ever, but this proves her worth. She’s powerful and scary in a way no one expects. Great twist MJ. As usual I think Betsy is self-centered, but she’s coming into her own and it’s not truly selfishness when things are happening to her, not just around her. Love love love these books.

Funny Turned Annoying (series)

Any additional comments?

I've read many vampire books and I'm always looking for a good series. When I read the first book in this series I thought it was hysterical. I laughed out loud many times at Betsy's rants and witty comebacks. The second book in the series was easily my favorite and I fell in love with other characters like Mark.

But by the third book I found myself fast forwarding past the rants I use to find funny. The main character Betsy just starts to become extremely annoying. The constant "poor me" rants and whining started to drive me crazy. I only made it to book 7 before I couldn't take what the main character had turned into anymore.

I don't regret the first couple credits I burned on this series and if you're still digging it by book 3 you may just end up liking the whole series. Enjoy it for the mindless entertainment.
