    "All in God' plan."
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes I would certainly recommend this book. If you don't know the bible and want to get an idea of the life of this woman, get the book, and if you do know the story of Ruth , this will give you a new light.

Have you listened to any of Barbara Rosenblat’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes , Barbara Rosenblat is now my favorite narrator. Her femele/male voice in so perfect, you know who is speaking.

If you could rename Unashamed, what would you call it?

    Rehab, follower of God.

    "Amazing read"

My husband even listened to this book with me and enjoyed it. I have always loved her books and hope all will read these. So encouraging and amazing as the women of the bible come to life!

    Story
"WARNING! Gory details in first chapter."
What would have made Unashamed better?

I wasn't going to listen to this 2nd book in the series after such a bad 1st book, but after some reassurance from a "friend" I tried. In the first chapter alone is Rahab's father encouraging her (as a child) to be one of the king's harlots. Not that that is not a horrid thing to have to listen to, but at least there wasn't a ton of detail about that like in the Hosea book (redeeming love), it just skimmed over it. Then it jumps ahead to Rahab being an adult and something about burnt sacrifices of children. This is where the gory detail was. I stopped listening and deleted it from my device. Why is this disgusting trash necessary for the story?! No more, I will not attempt to listen to any more of Francine Rivers books.
