Celebrity couple Jack and Cass Mandeville seem to have it all: good looks, successful careers, and a great marriage. Their children are also incredibly talented: stunning Cleo is a top model; devilishly handsome Sean a hot young comedian; and although 16-year-old Sophie hides her looks under big glasses and baggy clothes, everyone can see there’s a beautiful swan just itching to get out. In the eyes of the nation’s press, the Mandevilles can do no wrong.
That is, until a gorgeous redhead called Imogen turns up to interview Jack and Cass on the morning Jack hits the big Four-O. And the fabulous family find they’re not so perfect after all….

An avid listener of audio books.
I really love Jill Mansell's writing. The characters are interesting and very engaging. Although it's a lighter book it still keeps you guessing and unsure what the characters will end up doing.
"Pleasant, undemanding listen, with weak ending."
Yes. The ending seemed rushed and inadequate for a story that had gently meandered!
Hmmm! I don't know.
This was the ideal pleasant, undemanding listen for a relaxing afternoon, but I was genuinely taken aback when it ended. It felt like it was working towards an ending, but not as if it had reached it! The bits that were brought together were quite twee!
"Light, but entertaining"
Yes, by Jill Mansell, but I would think twice about another read by Hilary Neville.
It is much as all of her stories: light but entertaining.
In my opinion her 'voice' doesn't sit well with 'chick lit'. For me it was overly 'actorly' and kept intruding on the story.
