This romantic suspense with its theme of God as refuge provides a firsthand look at life in the military, where serving God and country create truly uncommon heroes.
Don't miss the other books in the Uncommon Heroes series.

really enjoyed the story line. A little too much detail on intimate moments so even though there is adventure, don't plan on listening with your children or husband around. I'm thankful for a thirty seconds forward button.
Get lots of Kleenex and prepare for a wonderful romance and a great suspense. I just love Tom Stechschulte as the narrator he is great.
Great story. I couldn't stop listening, despite the bad narrator. The voice he uses for the main male charater, Bear, is SO slow that it's annoying. Also, anytime ANY charater says "sure", the narrator drawls out "shore". Ok, I buy one charater having an accent, but not ALL of them. Despite that, the story was enthralling.
While I can say the book was good to get past some boring time and kept me occupied there was one thing always in the back of my mind while listening, and please bear in mind I comment from a military background. There is abolutley no way a civilian a foreign civilian even with his high power job is going to know the identities and opperations of Navy Seals. Understand one thing these guys are the best of the best. They themselves have so much security to those outside their command that it would be impossible for a civilian to just simply know who the team is and what they do in their opps. It would have been one thing if the author wrote how this guy paid some serious cash to hack info or bribe some high level people to learn the info he had of the Seals, but the author just simply made it broad information as though it was daily gossip of Seal Opps and members. Uh huh ya right...
Last comment about this book, its supposed to be a romance genre not a religious genre. Throughout the entire book there were 2 kisses thats it, there was over 3 hours dedicated to religion. note to author: less religion and more romance when your writing romance genre, you didn't even have a single love seen.
I love Dee Henderson's books and this is the beginning of another great series.
True forgiveness of wrongs done to Kelly.
Tom is a marvelous narrator.
Yes, it kept you wanting to hear more.
I got this book for my wife and she loved it! She loved the story and all the characters! The person who read it had a great voice and did a wonderful job! Wonderful writer!
My wife liked Bear best! He was a great person and so caring.
Great author! So many good books by her! Love all of them!
I loved how this book ties crisis with faith. Whenever I get discouraged in life I listen to this.
It reminds me there are other more pressing matters in the world. With these events, there are individuals that risk everything daily so we can live a free life. I need books like this to keep perspective.
I loved everything: the story, the characters and the message. I have
listened to this series many times when I am in need of inspiration and
Motivation. I have recommended this series to many and they get hooked😄
Some people think his voice is unusual. I feel his voice suits the
Rugged characters that he portrays. These characters are Navy Seals. In my mind, there is an inner toughness that allows these men to do the impossible on a daily basis. He conveys this with his intonation and cadence. Two thumbs up!!
Loved this story so much I own all the Dee Henderson stories.
I can't wait for her new story Full Disclosure in Oct 2012!!!
This was a very good book. My husband and I enjoy listening to audiobooks while working, and this one was something both of us could enjoy.
