Critic reviews

"Juicy Jasmine Larson Bush returns....Murray efficiently illustrates the importance of honesty and trust in marriage, and manages to contain Jasmine's outrageousness within the context of Christian faith." ( Publishers Weekly)

Love Love Love This Series

Would you consider the audio edition of Too Little, Too Late to be better than the print version?

I have never read the print so I would know. But Patricia R Floyd is one of my favorite narrators so I thought the audio edition was great!

What other book might you compare Too Little, Too Late to and why?

I really wouldn't what I would say is make sure you read the series in order. Although audible does not have it listed as a series it is. here are the books

1. Temptation
2. Sin and A Shame
3. Too Little Too Late
4. Lady Jasmine
5. Sins of the Mother
6. Sinners and Saints
7. Scandalous
8. Friends and Foes

I don't think audible has all of them but if you stay as close as possible some of the story lines will at least make sense.

What does Patricia R. Floyd bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Her flow and rhythm and inflection.

Who was the most memorable character of Too Little, Too Late and why?

Jasmin of course!

Too Much Too Often!!!!

I liked the stories and how they dovetailed together, but repeating the same "I love yous" and other lines said over and over again soon became boring and distracting. It seemed that the characters were whinning... To refresh information after a few chapters is okay, but when the same lines are repeated every few pages literally became too much information repeated too often!!!

Very good storyline

Patricia Floyd is a better narrative and brings the story to life! The prior narrator on the prior book was not good.

Addictive

I love the drama! Jasmine is not to be played with. She invented the game.

promotes Christian male misogyny

I love all her books in this series but this one was a little irksome. to have so called strong black women characters play into hypocritical, double standards is so last decade. at least the author could have let the female characters call out the deceptive behaviors the Male characters did also instead of just beg for forgiveness for their equal sins. if her and her husband both kissed other people they should both be called out on it. also, the author needed to research sex addition. the way it was used in the book os completely wrong. I bet if she knew sex addicts often engage in same sex acts as well as heterosexual sex she would not have used it bc of all the Christian standards used. out side of those things the book was great. I would definable recommend just beware the ideals are severely dated.
