Times and Seasons is the third collaboration between best-selling authors Beverly LaHaye and Terri Blackstock. Taking place on Cedar Circle, this is an inspiring tale of enduring faith, love and community through the changing seasons of life. Cathy Flaherty is in the middle of getting ready for her bridal shower when the police arrive with news that her 15-year-old son, Mark, has just been arrested for selling drugs. Horrified, Cathy drives to the police station where she discovers Mark had been caught red-handed in a police sting operation. Soon the wheels of justice are in motion, and Mark is sentenced to one year in a juvenile detention center. In their time of need, Cathy and her family find care and support from their friends, and strength and hope through God’s divine guidance. Ruth Ann Phimister’s compelling narration effectively captures the emotions of honest people who have sought refuge in the Lord in a time of trouble.

I didn't read the book but I like listening to the stories when I drive
It gave me a greater compassion for the family members of teens who get in trouble.
You could feel the emotion of the struggle caused by a teens wrong decisions on their family
Nothing. It's hard to read when there are so many characters
The characters were very well developed and the story line was captivating. (true for the whole series)
Maybe but it may not be my first choice.
I'm not sure.
I love to read Christian inspirational books. However, in this series, there were many parts that were judgemental of different groups of people such as public schools and Drs. I realize that there needs to be conflict in order for a story to work, however, slams on entire people groups is unnecessary. The way the story handled the differences in churches was better, but not by much.
