I listened to Thoughtless & Effortless in 3 days...Please hurry with the 3rd book!!!!!!!!!!!!

thoroughly enjoyed

While my favorite type of book (right now) is Erotica Romance, this book was recommended to me many times and thought I would take a chance. I'm a fan of long books (ie: Gabaldon, Follett) but really, this book could have been one download shorter. I see the relevance of it, to let us really know these characters but a shorter book would have been okay with me.

There were times I found myself wanting to slap Kiera so hard, talk about making wrong choices---OVER and OVER and OVER. It was truly painful and by the end of the book I was just wishing they'd Romeo and Juliet the thing and kill each other off in a love suicide. ugh! That's the reason for my four stars rather than a good solid five.

Too much UP and DOWN. To the bitter end you were left wondering if they could really stick it out, and I guess we'll see in Effortless, which I will also listen.

This book was thoroughly enjoyed and despite its length, I finished it in two days.

Fun Fun Fun! Couldn't stop listening!

What made the experience of listening to Thoughtless the most enjoyable?

This book kept me wondering what would happen next. I enjoyed it very much even though Kiera drove me nuts. I think that was part of the reason I kept wanting to hear more.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved the way the author make me feel both Kellan and Denny's side of the story and still not hate Kiera (a least not too much)

What does Rebekkah Ross bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

With some audiobooks I get lost trying to figure out which character is speaking. Not this one. The narrator was excellent and I easily got lost in the story without thinking. It was a lovely escape from reality.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

YES!

I saw some bad reviews but decided to try this book anyway. I am so glad I did. The reviewers were annoyed with the main character not the book itself. If you can get mad at a character that is the sign of a great story to me. Read this. You won't be sorry.

Would you consider the audio edition of Thoughtless to be better than the print version?

Same...but this is one of, if not the, best audio book that I have listened to.

The angst!

Which character – as performed by Rebekkah Ross – was your favorite?

Kiera. Rebekkah does an amazing job at all the voices really, but her voice is spot on perfect for Kiera in my opinion.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Any emotional moment with Kellan. Watching him open up just guts me!

Any additional comments?

Like I said...this is probably one of my favorite audio books and that was because of Rebekkah. She did an amazing job.

Heart warming

This is the second time I have read this book. I love the characters and the fight that Kierra had with her heart to decide which man could give her what she needed and wanted in her life. I would recommend this book to anyone

I could not stop listening to this book. I reluctantly turned it off at 2:30am and then after a quick sleep I picked up where I left off at 6:30am. I felt compelled to find out what was going to happen next - would Denny find out and would she really go back and forth between Kellan and Denny or just pick one?! have to say I became really frustrated with the character of Kiera. Oh man was she indecisive! Sometimes I really wanted her to grow up and just take some action. But I found the story quite heartrenching at times which I always love in a love story.

Rebekka Ross did a great job. She even did a fairly credible job of the Australian accent for the character of Denny (I am Australian).

I gave this audiobook an overall 5 stars due to the addictive factor.

Can't wait to start listening to the next book which I just happily spent a credit on.

Don't need to agree with it to enjoy the story.

I read a lot of mixed reviews on this one & I understand why. The story itself is great & accurate for the characters created. Granted, I did want to smack the herione more times than I can count but I refused to let her cowardice & idoicy prevent me from finishing the book. If cheating is a trigger for you, do not read this book.

Great book

This was a great book I’m excited to hear the second one!! Rebekkah Ross is my most favorite narrator I absolutely love her voice and the way she tells the story.
