Kellan Kyle. This beautiful rock star with such a low sense of himself.

This book is one of my all time favorite books.

This is a top 3 of all the audiobooks I have listened to and have. I have hundreds.

Amazing

I loved the narrator in this audiobook. I felt the emotions while I listened. I can't wait to listen to the rest of the series. #KellanKyleFan

Too drawn out

Could have been half as long and still been the same story. Otherwise it was good.

What does Rebekkah Ross bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Very pleasant voice. Brings the story to life.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The book is like a roller coaster! It is ful of highs and lows to keep the reader engaged.

I love this trilogy. 50 shades with less sex & more story.

I love Kiera. She is very innocent & reminds me of my little sister.

I didn't want the trilogy to end. I actually dragged out the last couple of chapters.

Intoxicating, Captivating, Frustrating

Which character – as performed by Rebekkah Ross – was your favorite?

She did a great job portraying the men in this book. It is difficult to make it believable and she nailed it.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I cried when she was left by both men although it was the best scenario under the circumstances.

Any additional comments?

She is both hated & liked throughout the book. However the fact that she was only with 1 man prior does not make it believable that she would sleep with both men who were like brothers living in the same house. I think it could have been better written.

Hate to love this!

If you are looking for the typical hero saving the tortured woman romance, do not download this book. If you want a quick read, forget this book. It makes you think. It is so full of blemishes on all three of the main characters parts (morals I am so against). I wanted to slap them all and put the book away so many times, but because it was so dramatic I just could not put it down. I usually save my listen for work (so no listening outside of work). I began this book on a Friday afternoon. The book was like a bad car crash, I couldn't stop listening and I finished in a few days (over the weekend/ outside of work). I was so engulfed and wanted to know what happened next.

I do agree that the author could have shortened the book. I didn't need to hear description of every nook and cranny here and there. And the recording is of very poor quality. I'm not saying the narrator was bad, but I got a lot of background noise.

Overall it was a very interesting twist on modern romance. Even the bad need their good times.

An Addicting Series

I read Thoughtless, Effortless, and Reckless in rapid succession. It was my first time reading a romance novel, and I was a little wary to start. It was also during a time in my life when I was experiencing personal loss, and desperately needed to escape reality. These books helped me do just that – I was completely absorbed.

It’s a tough call, but Thoughtless might be my favorite of the three. I love the agonizing back and forth between Kiera and Kellan, and their journey to each other. These books are unbelievably addicting – I hope the author decides to write more with the characters. I’ll even take an Anna/Griffin spin-off.

The narration wasn’t quite what I was expecting. The Kiera in my mind didn’t always match up with the Kiera I was hearing, and I would have preferred more “acting.” Nevertheless, I appreciated getting to enjoy this world in another medium. It helped me pick up on a few subtleties I missed the first time.
