Great follow up to "No Easy Hope"

I really enjoyed this follow up to "No Easy Hope." I got more about the character Gabe, which I had wanted. So far this series has a good and gritty realism with a good understanding of human nature, both the highs and the lows. Really enjoyable!

2nd in Series even better

I really like this series. The first book I thought was a great listen, a zombie book without too much of the gore that can be a turn off for me. This one was a little more intense as Eric and Gabe make the decision to move away from their well fortified location in the mountains with a newly introduced family across country to Colorado.

They encounter an aggressive group who want to steal their cache of guns and the woman with them and are taken in by another group who help them and become good friends.

This story is smart and fast paced.

Don't hesitate buy it great narrator

Decent follow up

What did you like best about this story?

Consistency. The author for this series has managed to achieve what only a few other authors have: consistency. He introduced some new characters and did so with good timing and allowed their stories to develop.

Have you listened to any of Guy Williams’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, but only for book one of this series. Guy Williams' take on female characters can be... interesting, but I've listen to far worse performances.

I enjoy this series. Not quite as good as Arisen when it comes down to the 'zombie post apocalyptic' genre, but then again, the too series are vastly different in story and content.

I just found this guys work. It is a really fun and gripping saga. Love finding new talented authors!

I thoroughly enjoyed the characters or Eric and Gabriel and their struggles. I hope there are more to come.

Still lovin the series

Such believable characters. God zombie interaction. Relationship between these two friends keeps me paying attention. Humor, suspence, romance? and adventure all wrapped up into one story. The two main characters think alike but are totally different in their approach to survival. Story is fast-paced with never a dull moment, can't wait to hear what happens next. Get the next one

Spookily realistic

I have read and listened to this series several times and I love it. It is realistic and you can see the descriptions come alive in your imagination as you read.

Love the story line, the book would be a page tuner. The performance does not do it justice.
