I'm bad at headlines =P But I love this series
I read the book prior to listening, so in my opinion the narration was fine, granted I could be a little biased since I already knew most of what was going on. The story itself is very compelling and has a way of drawing you in, not wanting to stop listening until it's over. I have a distaste for a lot of fantasy style books and stories out there since they're geared for "young adult." This offers quite a bit more and makes you feel like an adult reading about adults and mature topics in a fantasy world. You'll be reading about 3 important characters in which the author changes focus on every few chapters, don't let that discourage you as they all tie together in the long run.

love these strories
the books them selfs are amazing and Peter V. Brett can weave and amazing g world around you. the narrator was a little hard to get used to because of his monotone but give these books a chance and you will not be disappointed

I was hooked from the start!!
This book is fantastic!!
The story is original and intricate. Loved it.
The characters and their back stories are exceptional.
The performance of the narration is subtle at times and so addictive at other times. I occasionally had to stop listening and go collect my thoughts because the story got me so pumped. I highly recommend to anyone who loves the genre!

Finally Great Adult Fantasy
This is one of the best fantasy books I've ever read. It is not for children, and that's one of the reasons I love it. It doesn't waste a lot of time trying to be something it is not. It is about demons vs humans and it sticks to that. It is set in a post-apocalyptic world that is harsh. every character is in a daily fight for survival and good times are hard to come by. I am now a fan
