Great
I'm not a Sci-Fi kinda guy; however I picked this book up and then couldn't stop listening. Great plot, great characters, and great writing. Very easy to visualize the action taking place. I can't wait for the rest of the trilogy.

5 Stars all the way
I found this book by accident just browsing the library. The narrator does a great job. The story line is addicting. I haven't had a book keep me up till 4 am in a long time. I post a lot of reviews about the flaws in a book..... I have nothing negative to say here. I can't believe this book is not "front page" on the audible web site.

Wonderfully exciting book
What made the experience of listening to The Warded Man the most enjoyable?
It brought together how just because you grew up a certain way doesn't always mean you will follow in your parents footsteps

The potion healer because of her own adversity found strength to become more than anyone could imagine.

Amazing narration by Pete Bradbury.
Enjoyed the book, but the narration was amazing consistent attention to detail throughout,it made the story feel vibrant and alive. Really enjoyed this!

It was much better than I anticipated. I quite enjoyed the characters and some of the time spent on the details. I felt like some of the humor could have been polished and delivered a bit more pointedly. as for the narration I have heard some better his continuing starting with a loud syllable and then speaking fast and getting quieter towards the end of got distractive. a good book and worth the read though

Made me want to read the next volume
The story started slow but by the time the second protagonist appeared in the story, I was intrigued.
This one works like an introduction of the main characters and the settings of the story.
I am looking forward to reading the next book.

one of my favorites
I have read it listened to over a hundred books in the past year and this one kept me constantly trying to find time to listen to more. It did have dinner of a show start but once it grabs you in will keep you coming back for more.
