Such a beautiful story I couldn’t stop listening.

I got this book because I love books that go into detail about scenery on walks, or treks into the wild but I got so much more then I bargained for.
From the beginning (when they were children) to later in life this book kept me on the edge of my seat wanting more. Sometimes I was happy, sometimes…not so much but through the highs and lows, the ups and downs I loved every minute of this book. I have listened to it in its entirety three times and now have moved onto book two in the series.

This is honestly one of my favorite books and since it’s read by the author he conveys his feelings with every sentence so you’re not left to another narrator’s “interpretation” of how the writer was feeling, you KNOW how the writer was feeling.

An easy 5 star rating for every category. I’m half way through book two and unless something drastic happens it’ll be another easy five star book.

Thank you to the author for sharing your story with us. I wouldn’t sell my book back to audible for 10 credits.

I loved it, and it helped me in sad times in my personal life.

Wonderful story

I was taken from the moment I heard the voice. The person reading has the best voice. The story is really amazing. I read a lot, and I’ve never read a book like this. I plan on reading the whole set you should too.

A story of Hope

Over the last week I've been listening to "The Walk" during my morning walks and it's been a great match. I've looked forward to the next installment each day, and I'll be downloading the next book. This isn't a flashy tale, just a story of a man facing Job-like challenges, his life stripped away to nothing, working his way back to meaning.

Good Story

I enjoyed this short audio book. This is a start to the series, and although I liked this one, I don't expect to continue; I can see where this would start to be repetitive after a few times through.

I really enjoyed the story that led up to the decision to begin the Walk. I didn't enjoy the actual Walk part as much, but I did like it; some of the people he met were interesting. I also thought the ending was well done.

I was surprised at the uplifting tone of the second half, given the despair of the first. Both parts worked well together and made for a satisfying story.

The narration was good and the length of the story was about right.

wish is were longer

This book was so good but so short. I would have loved to hear more about their lives before and his life for a few more miles. A good sign.
