"Well-scripted, keeping the novel's original flavor with the cast's collective cohesiveness flabbergasting the listener." (Audioworld)
If you've read the book this audio presentation will be a tremendous let down.
The full book is excellent. I suggest dumping this audio and finding an unabridged audio. Unfortunately it is not available on audible at this time.
"Mostly ok, Some poor narration."
Dramatized scenes are okay. However, some of the narration is just plain bad. Seriously, the guy stumbles through his sentences like a primary-school child reading to his class, did they not think to record multiple takes?! Anyway, at least they aren't too frequent..
Well performed. I could understand it easily though I am French. The adaptation doesn't defer much from the original text. The music is intertaining and the noises are realistic. The story in itself is interresting. I recommend it. Especially if you have to read it for school.
