Publisher's summary

What would you do to inherit a million dollars? Would you be willing to change your life? Jason Stevens is about to find out in Jim Stovall's The Ultimate Gift.

Red Stevens has died, and the older members of his family receive their millions with greedy anticipation. But a different fate awaits young Jason, whom Stevens, his great-uncle, believes may be the last vestige of hope in the family. "Although to date your life seems to be a sorry excuse for anything I would call promising, there does seem to be a spark of something in you that I hope we can fan into a flame. For that reason, I am not making you an instant millionaire."

What Stevens does give Jason leads to The Ultimate Gift. Young and old will take this timeless tale to heart.

A Delightful Story Well Told!

The first of Jim Stovall's "Ultimate..." trilogy and a delightful introduction to his positive oriented books. As an avid self-help enthusiast, I hadn't expected much new info, and yet a number of the key topics (no spoilers, here) were presented with a fresh approach. I look forward to "reading" Jim Stovall's other books.
The narration by Tom Bosley was excellent and reminiscent of his role as a kind-hearted father on the TV-series "Happy Days."
Two thumbs up!

What a treasure!

I can't wait to pass this book along to my son for his 10th birthday. I hope he gets as much out of it as I did. Tom Bosley did a fantastic job. His familiar voice really helped bring you into the story like you were family.

Life Is What You Make It

The story was informative, inspiring and interesting. It would be a good (in chapters) youth class presentation. The narrator was perfect.

Good message.

The message was very good though the writing wasn’t. Would have preferred an honest memoir by the author to the “story”. Liked that it inspired a better version of the story as a movie though.
