You go up trail, I’ll go downwind

Well, this is the third Zane book I’ll have reviewed in the last couple days and I think it’s safe to say that I am without a doubt 100% certain the Zane gray is one of the best writers to ever put pen to paper.

This is an interesting and emotional tale about the building of one of the biggest railroads in the country.

I like Jay Rodney Turner’s voice what is almost sounding like he’s trying to hypnotize me or maybe read me to sleep very monotone right here I mean like I can speak and he’s clear and he can talk but it’s just not stunning or exciting

Zane Grey at his best.

What a tough time to live. Weather, Indians, gunslingers, and just tough men. It was a tough life for women too. Especialy Allie whose wagon train is attacked by indians kill all her family except her as she hid. She was 16 and did not want to live until Warren Neal gives her hope that life will get better. She is then taken by 4 bad men and they are killed by indians and the Indiams take her hostage. There is so much history as well in this book of the old west and the railway line.

This book was given to me at my request for a honest review.
