Heartache story
It is a story that I really fell in love with the children and broke my heart for. It’s a very sad, sad audible! I just kept hoping for some hope, some happiness, something for Rita! It shows the strength that child had to keep going even as an adult. Several times I cried through this for her, several times I just wanted to reach in pull her out and wrap her in love and tell her everything is going to be ok! It’s good but very sad!!

Heart warming
Certainly kept my attention. Sweet emotional story. Would give it a 10 if there were 10 stars. I will certainly purchase another book written by this author. Excellent story line!

The families in this story suffer through so much! It’s a heartbreaking story that I just could not put down. Narration was perfect. I am glad I read it.

I absolutely loved this book. Yes, it’s sad and at time hard to listen. It’s so worth it! This book kept my interest the whole book, I couldn’t stop listening. I have over 600 books in my library and this is in my top 20. I hope you enjoy this beautifully written story.

Very Well Written
If you want a whole lot of feel good, this is not the book for you. It is interesting and very well written and the performance is 5 stars. Not every story is a fairytale.
