I loved the story so much it easily became one of my favorites! I tend to listen to Sandra Brown's classic romances over and over. The Thrill of Victory is now at the top of my list!
I loved the development of the characters - both. So many layers are peeled away with such tenderness.
She did a great job with the emotion that poured from the characters.
Judd Mackie. His values, his complexities made him so likable, so desired!

I love books, it's my great escape.
I love Sandra Brown books, and this one is no exception. I love how she deals with a sensitive topic like ovarian cancer or ovarian cysts. However this is still a great romance with all the elements that we have come to expect in a romance novel (short story). Stevie and Judd finally come together after years of being at odds with each other. Judd is really a nice guy. Stevie is not so much the spoiled girl Judd thought she was and all the back and forth between these two really create some fiery sexual tension. Judd also shows a great deal of caring and compassion for Stevie and this is really what sold me on this story, I wish I could give it 6 stars.
