A good lazy summer afternoon book

I thought this book was pretty good, but with very little excitement to keep the readers attention. I trudged thru it and then began to appreciate the good personification of inter-personal relationships. (About half way thru.)

Wasn’t crazy about the reader (which I believe was the author.) it was difficult to hear her individual characters.

OK story, terrible narration

What did you like best about The Sunshine Sisters? What did you like least?

I liked the story of the 3 sisters, and to find out the directions their lives took. The narration was terrible, especially when she tried to do the American characters.

Was great I loved every single page of this book. Was a great story. WOW

Good Book.

I liked the story but hated the author narrating it. She may be a good author but she should have someone else narrate for her.

It has been hit or miss for me with Jane Green books but this one was a Hit. I enjoyed it and especially a good engrossing book for summer. The performance was fine but I think an actress would've been better.

A perfect beach read!

I always love Jane Green's books, and this one was such a great story. Perfect for a day at the beach or commuting to/from work. I couldn't wait to get back to the Sunshine sisters at the end of the work day!

Heartwarming Sister Story

I was intrigued from beginning to end. Found myself rooting for the characters and shedding tears over their miseries. Story is fulfilling and doesn’t leave you asking for more.

my first Jane green book

I loved it
its wonderful that the author reads her own story and adds that personal touch knowing just how each character would be in her mind.
This story reminded me of mommy dearest but with a better ending
I can't wait to listen to another of her books.

Great book but Jane stick to writing

This is a really great book although Jane Green should stick to writing. She does not have a good American accent and in the beginning it was very hard to listen to. I only struggled through it in the beginning because I really like her books, I did get used to it but it was rough.

Another Jane green winner

Beautiful and captive. Jane green has done it again. This is an emotional and wonderful read.
