Dame Frevisse of St Frideswide's nunnery is in London to arrange funeral vestments for her cousin's murdered husband, the Duke of Suffolk. She encounters Anne and Daved, but her duty and their love become more dangerous as a rebel army approaches the city. I love Margaret Frazer's novels about Dame Frevisse. If you're at all interested in history and what peoples' lives were like in England in the 1400s, you'll enjoy these books. This one intelligent, exciting, and fascinating.
Not my favorite of Frazer's books, but have been waiting for them to become available for quite a while. Not the best of the books but good none the less. Also for the narration - not stellar, but quite good.
