Combines AC1 and ACR, with a little extra. even though some major stuff is different.

This is a well read book based off a game. I would recommend it to you as I will recommend it to my friends, the narrative feels like an assassin would have read it to you & the story has your interest peaked.

    Any additional comments?

The beginning of this book really got my hopes up, starting with a young Altair, much younger than he is in the game series and it added a real touch of flavor to the story. Then the plot moved back into the familiar paths of the game. I stuck it out, hoping for it to diverge again but when it became obvious that it wasn't going to, I stopped listening. I feel a book like this should either be a direct translation (like the first two books) so that I can enjoy the story of a game I haven't played in a long while or it should add an entire understanding to the character that couldn't have been explored in its original medium (game).

What did you like best about The Secret Crusade? What did you like least?

the book goes into the history of the Assassins Creed story. tells all about Altair, atleast for the most part. i didn't care to hear of how disgraced he was but it was necesary.

Would you recommend The Secret Crusade to your friends? Why or why not?

yes, i've recomended all 3 of the first 4 books. only 3 because thats all i've got for now.

What aspect of Gildart Jackson’s performance would you have changed?

he could use more enthusiasm.. not exactly monotone, but very close to it.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

    i plan on it..
