Publisher's Summary

It has been only a few months since Mia Henderson lost the woman that she loved. She lost her ex-girlfriend, Michelle, who leapt off a building and died on impact. Since that incident, Mia has been unable to fall in love with anyone else. It makes her sad to see anyone else. The image of Michelle's death is still etched in her mind. For that, she goes to see a new therapist. She hopes that this will help bring her out of her depression. Things change the moment she meets her new therapist, Danielle Weaver.

Danielle is beautiful, intelligent, and kind. She's everything that Mia has ever wanted her to be. It doesn't take long before the two of them start to date. However, a part of Mia is afraid to moving forward. She feels that she is hurting Michelle by moving on with someone else. Yet she cannot get over how perfect Danielle is for her. For her part, Danielle has never dated anyone. She doesn't even know what it's like to kiss somebody. Mia is the perfect person to teach her everything that she needs to know. However, Mia is still stuck in the past. Will Danielle be able to get Mia to see who she truly loves? Will Danielle ever learn how to love? The answers still lie inside both of them.

    Story
"A good book but quite sad at times"

I found the narration in this book to be done very well. I enjoyed the main characters, but the story was sad and depressing as there was suicide and characters who struggle as a result of it. I listened while in my car for only short periods of time and I was okay with it. It might be quite emotional if you try to sit and listen to the whole story at once.
Some may find the doctor and patient relationship on the taboo side.
Overall I was satisfied with my time spent listening to this novel.

    "Narrator is horrible."

There was no emotion in the narrators voice. It made the story dull and less than mediocre.
