When Eva’s film star sister Katrina dies, she returns to Cornwall to scatter Katrina’s ashes. But the house where she stayed as a child is home not only to her friends the Halletts, but also to the people who lived there in the 18th century. When Eva accepts that she can slip between centuries, she begins to question her place in the present, and comes to realise that she must decide where she really belongs, choosing between the life she knows and the past she feels so drawn towards.

"Like something out of the pages of Daphne du Maurier" (Daily Express)
If you don't like books about time travelling then this is not a book for you!
I do not and therefore I did not give a full 5 stars.
But this author writes very good stories, where actual historical events are weaved into the stories. It made the story very interesting and enjoyable for me. I found the ending not very satisfactory,
"A magical summers listen ."
I really enjoyed this audio book, great descriptions and the wonderful narration really made the story come alive .
I found myself plugging in to listen whenever I could.
"Loved It...loved the Story...loved the Performance"
I don't normally listen or read books a second time but this is a book I would listen to again. Loved the ending a real surprise!
The regression part of the story and defiantly the characters.
Another Perfect performance
Surprise! The ending was unusual but perfect.
I love this type of book and Susanna Kearsley writes them well
