Publisher's summary

Christy Award winner Ann Tatlock paints a vibrant portrait of a fractured family's journey toward healing and forgiveness.

Now transformed by God's grace, John Sheldon is concerned about reuniting with his family after five years in prison. As he asks God to revive his dying marriage and heal his fragmented home, the answer to his prayers might just lie in the caring hands of his Down syndrome son.

Excellent Book by Ann Tatlock

Long a fan of this author, this story of a father returning home after being in jail for five years, shows the reactions of his wife and three children. One has Downs Syndrome, one a teenager in high school, and the other a young daughter who can barely remember her father. In prison, the dad has come to be a believer in God, kicked his alcoholic habit . . . but another practice threatens to ruin him and his family. This is not my favorite Ann Tatlock book, but it's a worthy listen. Don't miss it.
