Publisher's summary

Stephen O'Malley is a paramedic who has been rescuing people all his life. But he's running now - from the burden of his profession, from the grief of losing his sister, and from a God he doesn't want to trust.

He's run into a mystery. Stolen jewels are turning up in unexpected places, and his friend Meghan is caught in the middle of the trouble. Stephen's about to run into a night he will never forget: a kidnapping, a tornado, and a race to rescue the woman he loves...

very good

I have all the O'Mally stories, and loved them all, but Stephens' story was my favorite. This is a very good series, well written, good plots and well thought out characters.I will be looking for more Dee Hendersen stories. Tom Stechschulte did a very fine job with the narration too. Thank you for bringing interesting fiction with the truth of Jesus in them.

Another hit

I enjoyed hearing another O'Malley book. I have all her books and like this series the best.
I especially enjoyed his choice of a wife and going back to a small town where he was needed.

Good story, wish there was more

This series is very good, and this book did not disappoint. Wish there were more books in the series.

awesome ending, Kate's hubby suddenly had accent

I just love this family so much and the constant pushing of Jesus wasn't as annoying as last 5 books but I was so bummed that all of a sudden Kate's husband has accent because I was addicted to his voice and style.

Great series

Be prepared to cry a lot on the book called “The Healer” but it was so tender and dealt with the issues of losing someone to cancer and all the emotions before and after & the comfort God gives. This last book brought it all together perfectly & showed how God works in mysterious ways.

God knows you better than you know yourself

Principals. The book follows in line with all the rest of the series. Principals are not always easy to follow but are worth it in the end.

My favorite of the O'malley series

Such a sweet story line and I love the strength of Megan and the strength coupled with vulnerability of Steven. Blackie is the best character though. :)
